Just when we thought there was nothing better than the Olsen duo, we get a third. Elizabeth Olsen, younger sister of Mary-Kate and Ashley, is a rising movie star and has recently had two movies premier at the Sundance Film Festival. 

Elizabeth, for whom her two sisters named half of their clothing line, Elizabeth and James, for, appeared in several movies along side her sisters and is now stepping out to establish a name for herself. Elizabeth has a history in acting, yet unlike her sisters, Elizabeth or “Lizzie” as she is called, has spent the majority of her career on the stage and in plays, rather than in TV or movies. In fact, Elizabeth began with kid’s musical theater at the young age of seven and says she has always been the passionate performer in her family. 

Acting is not just a natural talent of Elizabeth’s, she just recently graduated from the Tisch School of Art at NYU. Three years younger than her famous twin sisters, Elizabeth knows all too well the pressures that can come along with fame as she experienced it first hand growing up with her sisters. 

While she may now be more famous for being an Olsen than for her acting, Elizabeth’s talent ensures that her work will soon speak for itself. While her sister’s have turned into extremely successful business women, building a fashion empire, Elizabeth is keeping her focus on acting. She has shot more films that her sisters combined, and she is making a mark for herself as a young fashionista and is starring in some big-time roles. I have no doubt that Elizabeth Olsen will be out of her sister’s shadow and all over Hollywood very soon.
