Remember when Americans went nuts in 1999 when our ladies beat China to win the World Cup?  Well it’s happening again.

In case you haven’t heard, the United States had its backs to the walls in their quarterfinal game against Brazil, down a goal with only a few ticks on the clock.  Abby Wambach headed in a goal to tie the game and the women went on to advance to the semifinal game thanks to penalty kicks

What I want to know is, how many more people are there in the world that set up cameras to film them watching TV?

But all kidding aside, way to go ladies!  After beating France in the semifinals on Wednesday, they’ll play Japan for the title on Sunday.  This is the team’s first appearance in the finals since Brandi Chastain and her abs won it in a shootout for the US in ’99.

Lovelies, are you watching the Women’s World Cup?
