I would never cut my hair for a role. My hair is precious to me. Hair is one of the first thing that attracts me to a person. If you don’t have nice hair, I probably won’t think you’re beautiful/handsome/pretty/hot/etc.

I think the photo isn’t a good one to judge by.. she isn’t wearing makeup (not that she HAS to, but we do see celebs with a lot done to their face at events and whatnot usually), it’s small, she didn’t expect this to be taken, etc. If it’s for a movie, whatever. I think it looks decent.

Well it makes sense thats its for a role as a terminally ill girl because it makes her look she is ill but she still looks “vogue”.

I don’t think it should be a big deal because it’s for a movie.  It’s just hair, it’s not like she was putting her body at risk for health issues by gaining or losing lots of weight to fit the character.  It’ll grow back.  I think if she were on the red carpet, all dressed up and makeup done, she’d look just fine.  The photo is not flattering.

Huh.  I’m sure it looks better when she’s wearing a little makeup and not making a fish face in a candid photo.  The candid photos always seem to catch them with the least flattering possible look on their faces.  I’m a fan of short hair, I think there’s hope if she spiked it up or something.  and besides, it grows back, so who cares anyway?

Id have to agree with @corpsegutted@xanga. It would be better if she rocked that haircut on the red carpet, all dolled up. Some people can get away with it, some cant. But Im sure that if her hair was styled, it’d look alot better.

It’s not the best cut for her but, it proves she’s pretty into the role and I respect that ^.^

It does make her look kinda boyish, otherwise she does look like an androgynous indie chick as well. Nothing wrong with looking boyish, I think it’s very cute and adorable on her. :3

Even though I sport long hair for myself, I also find short hair to be cute on a lot of girls.

I think that she shouldve just worn a wig for the film not cut off all her hair. 

It looks bad either way, but at least if it’s for a role it makes sense.  I don’t get the trend of pretty girls making themselves look like 12 year old boys though.
