Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge (aka Kate Middleton) is bound for Canada on Thursday (June 30) as part of her and Prince William’s Royal Tour of North America, but it could be their days spent in California in which the Duchess fulfills her dream meeting with her girl crush. 

According to Gather, when asked which Hollywood star she would love to meet when her and William make their way to California from July 8th to July 10th, the Duchess said like a “star-struck schoolgirl”: “Angelina Jolie!”

But Kate’s serious girl crush on the actress isn’t enough for the Duchess and Jolie to meet, since the actress unfortunately has “prior work commitments” which prevent her from flying into Hollywood to meet the Royal Newlyweds, which reportedly left Kate “inconsolable.”

But, like Kate’s fairy-tale romance with William, even her girl crush has a happy ending, as Jolie called the Duchess personally to offer her apologies for not being able to meet with her and Wills and even offered to meet with the royal couple later in the year in London.

The Duchess reportedly replied happily, “It would be my honor!”

The future Queen of England has a girl crush on Angelina Jolie. Luckily, I don’t think Prince William and Brad Pitt have anything to worry about!
