This shit is b-a-n-a-n-a-s.  But hey, I have no sympathy for the guy… I always do feel an eye for an eye (if rapists are mentally unstable, in which case they need mental help; if they AREN’T? They deserve to get raped back).  But to die?  Too bad.  I just feel for the victimized woman.  I’ll pray for her.

I do feel terrible for that older lady, she practically made it to the end of her life and then something this traumatic happens to her.

I’d actually be creeped out if I were the woman at first. The guy just died during sex? One of my first thoughts would be that he died of AIDS or something and he had just given it to me. She must be thankful (as thankful as you can be) that it was just a heart attack.

No pun intended, but I think he got off easy. Someone who would abuse a child and then abuse a 77 year old deserves to die in a much more painful way and after many many hours of torture. Not after sex.

This man was a disgusting person who deserved more than having a simple heart attack. He deserved to be ran over by a few buses on his way to her house.. he deserved to have a heart attack, LIVE through it, and suffer in PRISON until the day he died. He got the easy way out. Now this elderly woman will have to live the rest of her life not only knowing that someone raped her but also that a strange man died while inside of her (or on top of her, idk the details) and that alone is traumatizing. This entire thing makes me sick to my stomach. Men like this don’t deserve death…. they deserve torture for years and years. If he would have went to prison he would have gotten what he deserved… >_<

I think this shouldn’t have happened in the first place. He should have been put to death after his first crime with a child.

@dirrrrt@xanga - I agree. All rape is sick. But since part of my studies was on sexual violence when I hear things like this I wonder what was going on in the guy’s head…for treatment purposes. If we can understand how criminals work we can spot them better when they’re younger and hopefully prevent more horrible crimes like this.

That is EXACTLY why he attacked her. She’s elderly and can’t defend herself. Besides, rape is all about power and control. He probably felt safer attacker her because of her age.

How a rapist chooses their victim in general? I do not know. The elderly have always been a target for crime, they are one of the most vulnerable members in our society.
