Last night I went to see Bad Teacher, with Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake. I’d been wanting to see this movie since the trailer came out, and it did not disappoint.
Cameron rocked as the bad-ass teacher, who should be anything but a teacher. She’s a gold-digger looking for a man to take care of her, and thinks that the only way to do this is to get fake boobs. She goes through a slew of hilarious and illegal activity to get enough money for her new boobs. The movie is pretty racy, and rated R for good reason, so if you’re not into that kind of humor this is not something you’d enjoy.
Justin Timberlake plays the ditzy, virginal, but rich teacher that Cameron’s character goes after, and he’s also hilarious. I had forgotten (until my friend mentioned it) that Justin and Cameron dated for, like, four years and were super serious. They have a funny sex scene in the movie, and all I could think about was how awkward that must have been!
Have you seen Bad Teacher? Would you want to see it?

I saw it yesterday and I wasn’t hugely crazy about it. I giggled a bit. Maybe it was the crowded theater (I’m ochlophobic) that kept me from enjoying it too much, because normally I’d have found that movie hilarious.

The movie was really good, for me at least

It was funny. but the story line is just not that good in my opinion.
Cameron Diaz actually looked kind of old in this movie!

I want to see Bad Teacher. I am a teacher in the Upward Bound Program and I swear to God, I want to act like this with some of my students. I know I should not be a high school teacher and I am so glad that in the future, I won’t need extra money from being around high school students. It’s too bad I care too much about my future career or I probably would be like Cameron’s character.

I saw it on Saturday. Regardless of the fact that my friend and I got I.D’d TWICE, I really didn’t think it was anything special. I was really excited to see it because it looked really funny (I even wrote a post about it) and walked out of it disappointed

I really want to see it! I might go this weekend after I get paid.

Movies like this are always overhyped and it turns out, they’re not that good.

i saw it last night, too. i suppose it was funny, but the plot was so senseless and implausible that i didn’t really like it.
things just sort of happened without explanation or due course…

Meh, I giggled.

Just seeing the trailer of this movie makes me cringe. Teachers are scrutinized to the upmost degree these days… especially since parents go apeshit if their kids are being mistreated. So watching Cameron Diaz through dodgeballs at little kids isn’t believable whatsoever. It just would never happen, ever. It’s one thing to make a movie based off of improbable situations, but that would never ever ever ever in a million years happen! She would never be a teacher, substitute or otherwise! Maybe I’m being too serious… but it just takes away from the humor of it.

@prettykay04@xanga - I echo your opinion exactly!

It looks dreadful.
guest
It was alright. Bridesmaids was much funnier.
guest
Definitely not a winner in my book. -__-;

@Jane - That’s funny you mention that; I haven’t gone and watched it yet, but every single person who I know has gone to seen it has told me that they were ID’d even when they were with their parents. There must be some tight restrictions on this movie. lol

I thought it’d be funnier tbh. The sex scene was so awkward. Some giggles

I dunno…the trailer I saw kind of made me angry. I guess I just don’t appreciate dumb, trashy, bimbo humor.

I feel like I would be annoyed by the movie. Not a huge fan of Diaz.

I loved it but agree that the story line was kinda, bland for me. It still worked in a weird way i didn’t feel like i wasted my money, i love cameron diaz anyways!
guest
personally, I think it looks terrible from the trailers. I haven’t seen it.

Possible spoiler alerts…though I never exactly felt like this movie had a climax…
Just saw it tonight…nothing particularly “wowed” me…but it was decent. I believe that Justin Timberlake is probably the worst actor in Hollywood…he was just ridiculous. My only 2 major complaints were how she never got in any trouble at ALL and there was nowhere near enough Jason Segel!!!

I heard the best moments were in the trailer. I’ll probably still watch it when it’s on Netflix.
With the Justin and Cameron being exes thing, yeah, that dawned on me too, but I guess you put that stuff aside when you are in acting.

@not_your_concern@xanga - throw* (maybe your teachers should have been scrutinized more)
guest
Probably won’t see it.

LOVED this movie. :)

my friend and I went to a premiere of it. Hilarioussss. And we’re both going into the teaching field. I’m definitely debating using her dogeball technique when I teach about To Kill A Mockingbird. (;
But the sex scene was wicked awkward. I think the whole theater was cracking up the whole time.

@semicharmdlife8@xanga - Lol really? I make a simple error and you automatically assume that I can’t spell? That doesn’t make much sense. I’d also like to point out that I meant to say “utmost” instead of “upmost.” What of it.

My husband and I want to see it… but if it turns out to be overly done like the heartbreak kid… :/

This movie looked stupid as hell. I wouldn’t pay to see it.
guest
Justin Timberlake is in it? It just lost a few “must watch” points in my mind. I haven’t seen him in any of the trailers so far. Just Jason Segel, who is WAY better!!
guest
@not_your_concern@xanga - I don’t know… there’s some kids back in my school days i wish a teacher would throw a dodgeball at their face…

@lyrra_askavi@xanga - That’s what Frostwire is for lol

Nah, I’ll pass. It seems like it is trying too hard to be raunchy and funny.

@caffeinated_mama@xanga - I don’t even think I’d bother torrenting it. O_o

I saw it last night as well, and I agree with everything you said. It was amazing.
guest
I wanna see it.

My wife saw it last night and said it sucked.
guest
It wasn’t that great. I hated the main character, and it was too vulgar for my taste.
guest
I saw this Sunday. It was hilarious.

I hate Cameron Diaz, so no, I do not plan on seeing this.
guest
It had some really funny parts definitely. But i felt like the ending could have been better.
guest
Actually I have not seen yet !! But this post really gets me so excited to watch it as soon as possible !!!! Really will gonna a superb experience to watch Cameron as A gorgeous teacher who keeps trying hard for Zig Zag Bumpy Boobs !!!!
guest
saw it yesterday, was much better than i expected it to be, and i expected it to be pretty good!
really funny, and I like the ending too (won’t go into detail as wouldn’t want to spoil it)
guest
wish I could see it but I’m underage and my mom definitely won’t take me.

I thought this movie was HILARIOUS. I’m a teacher at a college, and I teach the freshmen. I want to throw dodgeballs and call them morons all the time! The way this teacher thought and taught was so wrong, but sometimes I wish I could act just like that
Well done, Cameron!
