Boobs – we all have them. Some are gigantic, some are barely there. Some are 100% real and others are fake. While some of us can fill out bras, some of us need a little push up enhancement. In a big breast lovin’ society, it can be hard out there for a girl with a smaller chest. But I’m not going to lie – I love my small boobs!
Although we all seem so programmed to want double D’s that spill out of some overly priced bra that will only add to their bodacious size, I am perfectly okay with my boobs and the size that they are today. Really, I don’t see what the big deal is when it comes to being an A or B cup. In fact, I only see the pros instead of cons.

Yeah, I didn’t click the link to read the rest of this, but it’s kind of ironic that it’s on the same website as the ‘most disappointing celebrity bulges’.

More power to you!
But I adore my 32F’s and will until they sag in my mid thirties.

Exactly how small are the author’s boobs, I wonder? At a 32A, it’s been really hard for me to find womanly bras. Unless I pay quite a bit of money, I’m stuck with the childish stars/hearts/etc.
I’ll get behind the advantages of them not making backs sore, lack of stretch marks, lack of sag, etc, but I’m sincerely skeptical that it’s easy to find bras for AA or A cups. Easier than DD or something, perhaps.
I dunno. As someone who’s been an A cup for a long time, it’s becoming a little irritating for me to see people with B’s and C’s heralding the advantages of a small chest. Not because they’re wrong – there ARE advantages – but because I find it hard to get behind them 100% when they’re getting the advantages without the drawbacks of having basically no cleavage and people referring to their boobs as “mosquito bites” and bodies as “looking like 12-year-old boys.”
I’ve never actually seen an A-cup write a post like this. I’m sure it’s happened, but the 5 to 6 I’ve seen have ALL been Bish. There might even have been a small C in there.
Basically, IMO, I think it kind of sucks to be too far on either side of the spectrum.

They make a woman look younger and slimmer.

I don’t have huge boobs, average, but I have a nice set of killer legs

@RestlessPhoenix@xanga - I so agree with you. Since when was a B-cup “small”? The spiteful part of me says such sizes have no right to complain, for no one is going to call them flat. As you say, they have the best of both worlds essentially.
And dude, I have to avoid so many kinds of tops because any kind of draping makes a flat chest look flatter, and plunging necks are just morale-crushers because there is nothing there to display. I think it’s safe to say that either end of the size spectrum kinda sucks.

@soulfuric - I think a B-cup became “small” when American obesity inflated the average cup size…
“The average breast size in America has recently increased from 34B to 36C. This coincides with the increase in dress size. The fashion industry typically designed clothes for a size eight, B-cup woman. With the obesity epidemic, the average American female wears size 14 or 16. No surprises here. Breast size is determined by fatty tissue. The more fatty tissue in your breasts, the bigger they are.”
Source.
“The average size of the American breast has grown from 34B to 36C , according to manufacturers.”

I had a B cup until I started birth control then they inflated to a C. I still don’t feel like my boobs are huge nor do I feel like they’re average. I have little cleavage still but whatever.

I personally don’t think a woman’s breast size matters, I consider myself to have rather small breasts (34b) and due to having two children, both of whom breastfed.. I don’t have “nice” breasts anymore either. They’re are small and deflated. But I have never looked at a woman and thought “wow, she has tiny boobs.” I think women are a beautiful creation no matter what, and the size of their bra doesn’t matter. AND I don’t are what any man tries to say about it, because the male species is hypnotized by a woman’s naked breast no matter what the size or shape.

@RestlessPhoenix@xanga - I’m betting she’s a B. I’m an A and while I like them 99% of the time (easier for me athletically speaking) I get really annoyed b/c clothes don’t fit – I’ve had to leave dresses on the rack that are 00 because my boobs are too small.
guest
I cannot agree more. I’m not gonna trade in my speed bumps for anything else
@RestlessPhoenix@xanga - I think bras in general are expensive ): Each of mine are about $40-$50. Unless I go to China to buy some.. they’re like $10 but I find that they give me no support what so ever :S
hydrangea / 60 posts
@o0_Innocent_0o@xanga - I see 32Bs to 36Cs all over the mall for $5-$10 in the young adult stores (Charlotte Russe, Vanity, Deb’s, etc). *shrug* Even if you go to their websites, you can’t find A-cups or D-cups. A quick check at Charlotte Russe’s site shows me that theirs are selling for $10-11, so it’s not a regional thing… How supportive they are is another story, but I imagine that B-cups are small *enough* that they don’t need a whole lot of it. Then again, I’m not sure I know. (My boobs have actually grown, just don’t know how much…)
@JoeytheGenie@xanga - Yeah, exactly. I’ve had this problem too, though I hover between sizes 1 and 3.

I have 34As, so that’s obviously on the small side. For a while I used to hate being so small-chested, but as I’ve gotten older, I’ve come to love them for what they are. They fit my body type and I would never change them, so that’s really all that matters. Having a boyfriend who likes them regardless of their size doesn’t hurt, either :)

@RestlessPhoenix@xanga - I also read that it included women who got implants as well.

I don’t want D’s. I’m very happy with my B’s and sometimes I wish I were an A cup. Clothes look better when you don’t have huge boobs. It’s a simply truth.
lily / 5148 posts
Trust me, you don’t want any D’s, I’ve had them and even managed to grow into DDD ;( You really don’t want anything passed a C. Looking for bras is ridiculous and they are quite expensive too.

I feel like I hear women go on all the time about how they hate having small boobs, but I’ve never really understood why. Boobs don’t seem to be an *actual* important factor when it comes to beauty. A beautiful woman is a beautiful woman regardless of her breast size.

@RestlessPhoenix@xanga - They average US boob size became larger due to all the hormones in meat. At least that’s what the show Manswers said.
hydrangea / 60 posts
@floralsundress@xanga - Interesting. Supposedly Vanderbilt said it was body size (and this reason is all over the internet, as I cited above), and @Kittyluve@xanga might have brought up a good point as well.
I dunno. I guess my point still comes down to this: A “B” cup is *smaller,* but it was the average semi-recently and it’s gone up for unhealthy/unnatural reasons. It seems silly to call it “small,” and it’s distressing to me that posts such as this one tend to be made by B-cuppers… instead of A cups or even AA cups, who are actually on the more extreme side of the spectrum.
But hey, for all I know, this poster COULD be an A or AA cup. She never says.

I have to say, I’ve really come to like my double D’s. But it’s taken a very long time to get to this point.
On another note, I don’t think we’re all programmed to want double D’s. Having big breasts does not automatically make you more desirable or more beautiful. Sure, it makes most guys drool, but that makes it even more difficult to figure out who actually likes you and who just wants to see your tits. Having big boobies isn’t what it’s cracked up to be! Sometimes they can be a real pain in the ass, especially when you’re trying to find a shirt that fits. Don’t even get me started on button-downs…

I have huge boobs (DD or slightly bigger…I don’t fit into a lot of DD bras but I’m in denial, okay) and I’m slowly learning to like them, but as a tomboy when I was younger when I first started getting boobs – IN SIXTH GRADE MIND YOU – I was mortified. I slouched for like three years.
I wore baggy clothes all through high school.
Pros to having big boobs: They balance out my huge butt, I have a nice hourglass figure. My boyfriend likes them. My friends seem to think they’re hot.
Cons to having big boobs: Bras are only beige, black, or white. Wtf. I want pretty bras. People comment on them with wild abandon, even if I’m just wearing a form-fitting shirt that doesn’t show cleavage or anything. People think you’ll be more receptive to sexual advances – a guy grabbed my boobs at a club once and said “You’re a nice girl.” Wtf?
And the #1 con: Having to wear a bra ALL THE TIME. I would looooove to be able to go out without a bra on, or wear strapless bras, or those criss-cross bras that go with different styles of pretty tops, but I can’t pull any of those things off. It sucks.
Ideally I’d rather be a C cup, but if my butt was smaller I wouldn’t mind being a B or even an A.
Rock on with your small boobs, ladies!

@thisiswhereItellyoueverything@xanga - Just remember that just because you have small boobs doesn’t mean you can go around without a bra. I know I definitely can’t and I’m a 36A
guest
I love my C’s sometimes D’s, they aren’t too big or too small. I know people with G’s and that’s when it’s a problem. Although I wouldn’t want to have A’s either.

Small boobs rock! Seriously, large breasts are entirely overrated.
magnolia / 1357 posts
@RestlessPhoenix@xanga - I agree with you. I wear size A bras, although I think I’m a size B but always get heartbroken when I’m measured as a size A. I really don’t see myself as having a flat chest, but having other people make comments that say I am flat chested isn’t really fun.
Just the other day, the 17 year old daughter of my swim coach was making fun of me in a “nice” way (aha…) by saying that I, being 22 years old, had much smaller boobs than her and that I probably wore the same size bra as her recently turned 15 year old sister.
It’s silly, small things that seem to not matter… but they do get a little bit hurtful every once in a while.
And by the way, I’ve found a couple of pretty (as in, one color, good fabric, comfortable, and sometimes even almost considered sexy) bras at Forever 21. They don’t last as long, but oh well…

@not3000@xanga - Yeah, I’ve been told about Forever 21. Just haven’t quite made it to one to check it out. =) Thank you!

I used to hateeeeee having small boobs, and I would complain all the time. But one time my sister made it all make sense when she said, “small, big, perky, droopy, etc. GUYS LOVE ‘EM ALL!” hahaha this made me feel soo much better, esp because it’s true!!

I’m a 34C, which I’m quite happy with. However, being short and having a small waist as well can make finding clothes that fit a little difficult. For the most part it’s okay but sometimes things that fit nicely on my waist are reluctant to fit over my boobs. Grrr.
Still, I like my boobs

As a man, I know many attractive “flat-chested” women, who I’d choose over the buxom variety any day. Breast size is the last thing you should be concerned about, unless you like a person you know is a breast fetishist
. In that case, you should not waste your time.

i have small boobs (around 34A depending on the bra, sometimes 32A or even 32B) and don’t really mind as long as i’m thin and in shape. when i gain weight i tend to look disproportionately small in the chest, but when i’m at my low weight my proportions look fine. i guess my boobs just don’t gain weight as much as the rest of me…
if i could choose i would want nice B or small C cups. nothing bigger. i think more important then size is shape. my biggest concern is my boob shape, sometimes i like them, sometimes i don’t. guy’s tell me that i have nice boobs but its hard to believe sometimes.
guest
I get that I have small breast a lot and I’m only a 34B. I don’t have a problem with them, I can still wear cute shirts without looking overexposed.
guest
As a guy I LOVE small breasts! I love the way they look and the way the feel. Large breasts: i.e. anything over a medium C cup I am not a fan. I dont care how perky they are they hold nothing to a nice A or B cup. And breasts that are smaller dont sag like larger breasts. God they look so nice.

Here we go again… why does this sound a lot like something VERY familiar?
Skinny vs. Curvy COUGH!!!
Same crap just one body part instead of it all as a whole.
Yes, we are happy we have small boobs and big boobs…
Although… it is a bit funny.
Curvy women trying to get past social standards… and here we have small breasted women trying to overcome social standards…. hmmm.
Makes you think.. maybe everyone just needs to learn to love what they have and stop trying to prove they are “unphazed” with blogs on the internet.
Food for thought.

Us quality guys will realize that fake boobs mean they are fake people. A girl who is confident in what they are given makes them attractive. I personally find the A-C range is what i’m looking for.
rose / 980 posts
@rusethemuse@xanga - I disagree. I think clothes look better on a woman who is confident with her body whether she’s an A cup or a DDD cup. I know that clothes looked better on me when I was a 34C than when I was just a 34B. But that was me. I’m a 36DD now and (losing weight so getting closer to a 36D) and my clothes look damn fine on my bigger chest. And I’m sure your clothes look damn fine on you too.
rose / 980 posts
I have been (as an adult) a 34B, 34C, 36D, 36DD, 38D, and a 40D. I like mine best at 36D. When I was that they filled out shirts and dresses really well. The only problem I have is with people’s perception of showing cleavage. I don’t care if I show miles of cleavage, which is apt to happen if I wear a tank top or V-neck, no one has the right to assume I am easy or cheap. I wore those same shirts as a 34B and my sluttiness level has not risen with my breast size. I’m just sick of wearing T-shirts in 100 degree weather. So titty shows it is! And that doesn’t mean I sleep around. And I might just slap any staring, drooling guy silly because I ain’t flaunting anything! I’m just trying to stay cool.
rose / 980 posts
@RestlessPhoenix@xanga - I’m sure the reason breast size has increased is due to both more overweight women and the hormones in baby formula/milk/meat. I saw a show on this recently where they examined generations of women of the same family and in these cases the women were all the same sizes but the younger generations had much larger breasts.

Really? Another one of these posts? I thought we were finally past the boob and ED posts being featured on xanga. I suppose it was just wishful thinking….

“Damn girl”
“Hey boobs!”
me: o.o thanks…*rolls eyes*
Yeh, having a C in 8′th grade was bad enough then freshman year growing to DD. Crying cause I couldn’t find damn clothes that fit my chest. Some bitch calling me porn star, whore, slut when I tried wearing a shirt or dress that wasn’t even revealing. Teased by my “friends”. Being groped and called Boobs, being sent to group with the counselor to not only talk about family problems but my insecurities, having every other girl in there say they’re sad how they have small boobs then the counselor talk shit on how big boobs suck. Thanks…Then junior year I actually start getting used to them they grow to my current state of a 38 DDD. Yes I do have some minor back problems, and no it’s not because I’m fat my boobs are bigger. I have no money to get a damn reduction if I wanted one, no health insurance since I’m 19 and since it ran out when I was out of high school. What I don’t understand is why you’re bagging on big breasts, it’s not like I )or other like me) don’t have enough problems with them. At least your “small boobs” might not cause health problems, I talked with this one lady I work with and she said her kids got arthritis before they turned 18 and said there’s a good chance the pain I’m having could be just that. Not to mention not knowing who likes you for you, and not for your bra size. And they get in the way more times than I care to count… >>
So, how about be happy with what you got, because that’s what the hell I’m trying to do. Got it? Yes, that was a rhetorical question.
guest
@RestlessPhoenix@xanga - Yeah, it kind of annoys me too because I’m an A-cup. B’s might be smaller than the average but they can still make cleavage easily, so I don’t really want to hear it.
sunflower / 451 posts
I live in Ecuador, and it seems like the smallest bra you can find here is a 32B. (Every now and then, I’ll see a 32A, but that’s a pretty rare occasion) And I think 32Bs here are a bit bigger than the ones in the US. I was a 32B when I moved here, but I’ve since lost a lot of weight, and I am forever adjusting my bras to keep them in place. I keep hoping I’ll gain the weight back, but it’s just not happening. Also, I haven’t worn an A cup since I was 14, so it’s a bit of an ego-killer going down a size, especially one that really doesn’t offer much variety to choose from. And it’s a bit depressing seeing that the clothes I wore in college no longer look good on me and I’m not even 30!

Being as I’m a tiny women (5’2″ and 95lbs when not pregnant), I’ve always been on the small size of a B. I never had a problem with guys being attracted to me. Every guy I have dated has complimented me on my breasts. My husband loves them. Now that I’m pregnant I’m on the large size of a B, probably will be pushing a C by the end of my pregnancy. While I enjoy the fullness, I appreciate my smaller breast size now. It was easier to go bra-less in certain outfits and I didn’t have to worry about how deep V’s went, as far as showing too much cleavage.
Basically, pro’s and con’s to both sides but it doesn’t matter. Breasts are breasts!

Please do not mind them. They are only giving themselves headache. You must love the way you are or you were created.I love small b……..
