I don’t know about you, but I follow a ton of random things on Twitter. @HuffingtonPost keeps me updated on news, @Cosmoonline gives me dating advice, and @Eonline (the E! channel) provides me with the latest gossip, all in one little tweet! I also follow some tweeters that give me a laugh every now and then, like @TheEllenShow (Ellen DeGeneres).

Along with the above accounts, these are the people/organizations/whatever that I think everyone should follow on Twitter:

@DearBlankPlease(Dearblankpleaseblank.com) tweets funny ideas in letter format, starting with a “dear____” and ending with a “sincerely_____.” For example: “Dear Ke$ha, If you go broke, will your name be Ke¢ha? Sincerely, curious.” The website will have more of these, but getting a funny tweet from them every now and then makes me giggle.

@sprinkles (Sprinkles cupcakes) often gives their secret word of the day, and if you whisper the word in the store, you get a free cupcake! My friends and I love doing this at school, since the sprinkles in Georgetown is so close by. If you don’t have a Sprinkles near you, don’t fret! The chain is beginning to spread nationwide and is already in some major cities such as New York, DC, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Beverly Hills, Palo Alto, Newport Beach, Scottsdale and La Jolla.

@ivyleaguebitch tweets quotes that “Ivy League bitches” would so. Although this stereotype does not usually run true, it’s ironically funny. Here’s an example: “Eating frozen yogurt 6 times a day is not a diet.” If you’re at an Ivy League, let alone any college, you can definitely relate.

@_RevRunWisdom (of the group Run DMC) tweets inspirational quotes, which are sometimes linked to religion, sometimes not. While some of his tweets are a little tacky, a lot of them make sense and are applicable to the world we live in today.
