omg i am so sick of hearing kate middleton being talked about like she is some lovelyish goddess. get over it already…

I agree…Kate Middleton overkill. BUT! She does seem like an amazing person. I think I would take the free clothing if the designers offered, she’s a better person than me. On the other hand, she’s a much richer person than me and if she can afford to pay for them, good for her.

I’m Canadian, and as you know (or should) we have major ties to the royal family and it’s rich history. I really like Kate Middleton. She seems like a beautiful, smart young woman. I commend her decision not to accept free clothing. I don’t see why there’s so much hate on here.

I LOVE Kate Middleton and it’s nice to see a “celebrity” type of woman that’s so classy. I think it’s awesome she’s paying for her own clothes too…either way she’s going to look fantastic!

If I had millions of dollars, I’d pay for my own clothes too. Oh wait, I already do, and I’m not a millionaire. Big whoop.

Everyone should pay for their own clothing. Except, er, I guess the designers get free advertising when she wears her clothes. I would take the free stuff, but not a “wardrobe budget”.

What’s with all the friggin hate?  Keep your panties on, everybody, jeez.  I’d rather hear about Kate Middleton than Heidi Montag or Katy Perry, just as a couple of examples.  And I think it’s cool that she wants to pick out and buy her own stuff.  A lot of people in her position would just take advantage of their status to get free stuff.

Jesus Christ Kate Middleton/Lovelyish haters, calm the fuck down -.-  If you don’t care and you’re sick of hearing about it, then why are you subscribed to a blog dedicated to celebrities and fashion?  More importantly, if you care so little about it than why did you just put all that effort into making a comment about how much you don’t care?  That’s just completely pointless.

ANYWAY, I admire that Kate Middleton is being so grounded and level-headed and not having everyone cater to her every fashion whim.  It shows she’s genuine and not at all like spoiled royalty.  We need to see more of that, so good for her.  I’m beginning to realize how much I like her more and more with every good thing I hear about her

Just a tip from a freelance writer: You don’t need to post hate and curse about . It’s disrespectful to a writer of an article, even if you don’t agree with it. Writers work hard on an article no matter how short it is or what it is about.

There still getting feedback.  I get it, shes “different” pretty, and someone who younger girls can look up to and idolize without parents worrying. But after awhile its the same thing. x__X and its almost daily with Kate stuff. @__@; on this site. it wouldn’t be bad if it was like once a week. and they had a “Kate news hour” and they collect all Kate things and spammed it then and there. 

people post here for feedback, Which is what they are getting. Some may like the posts, other’s not so much.

Just a tip from a reader: if you can’t take criticism, you probably shouldn’t be any sort of writer. also, don’t ever expect to improve if you can’t take criticism. when did it become disrespectful to voice out our own opinions? also when did this become some sort of fascist blog where were only allowed to agree with what’s being said and say nice things?

Any money she gets comes from British taxpayers or her own parents. Seriously… this woman is nothing more than a glamorous society wife living off of taxpayers’ money. I cannot believe anyone seriously aspires to be like her – she’s never had a career or held a serious job (a 3 month stint at Jigsaw and working part time for her parents doesn’t count). Get over it Lovelyish. There are plenty more accomplished women out there to feature than putting her on constantly!

I think she’s a great role model.

So many celeb and royalty will just take, take and take.  She’s trying to be “normal”

Since UK is in financial crisis, she’s just making a point that she won’t require the govt. to support her clothings.

She gets credit for paying for her own clothes because she gets offered FREE clothes. If we were all offered free clothes, we would take it.

It’s not the fact that she’s buying her own clothes, which we all do. It’s that she chooses to do it even when she has the option NOT to, because companies left and right all want to give her their free shit. It doesn’t make her a goddess or better than anyone, but it does indicate that she’s trying to stay down-to-earth, which is refreshing from someone in her position.
