I really wish I could say I enjoyed the simplicity, but it was super boring. I loved her outfit though.

She looked hot, and I love Mother Monster, but both the music video and song are boring.

I love her to death but I didn’t even watch the whole thing. I watched about a third. I heard she kept it simple because since the song is a tribute to her grandfather, she didn’t feel a need to make anything crazy.

I love the song, but the music video is boring. o-o I picture something so much more crazy when i listen to this song. 

All of her videos bore me, but that is because I don’t like any of her music.

Compared to her other videos it can seem a bit boring. But I think she likes to mix it up sometimes. She loves drama but this is more of a 80′s music video type drama. Very simple with a lot of dancing. Not every video is going to be a gem. Personally I like the song more then the video though.

I heard that she directed this video herself since she fired her director.

But it’s just what I’ve heard.If it’s true though, no wonder it’s boring.

Very disappointing. This song had so much storytelling potential for the video.

She’s been boring me since the new CD came out.  Too much “baby” repetition, strange dancing, and the same tune to the chorus in every song.  I’m returning to Britney.

love the song (except for the sax break, a little too retro for me), and i actually like the video. sometimes when i watch a music video, i want to see…a music video. not some enormous, overdone, melodramatic theatrical production. the simplicity was refreshing, and i hope to see more of lady gaga editing herself.

this is something i expect from mariah carey or something…

I feel like the gritty urban feel of the video suits the tone of the song.
Which, by the way, is my favorite Gaga song so far.

yeah i love this song, so I am disappointed too. but I guess she got to show some kind of “normal” video?

I don’t really watch music videos, so I don’t care. Haven’t heard the song yet so I guess I’ll have a listen eventually.

I knew this was coming. She can pushed her limits too far and now she can’t outdo herself, and her fans are disappointed because they keep expecting more but she’s got no more left to give. 

I think she looks hot and her set reminds me of Out Tonight from Rent, but as I’m typing this while the video is 3/4s done playing, you can guess it’s not keeping me glued to it…it’s an awesome song but it’s repetitive, which can kill a music video.

I actually loved it. I thought that the simplicity of it was very refreshing and it allowed me to focus on the music. She looked amazing and it showed off her voice without distractions. 

Song is okay. ;/ It’s just pop with no real depth..at least for me. It reminds me of the endless songs produced by asian boy and girl bands really. 

The video was okay. Her outfit wasn’t too bad this time around, surprisingly.

I love this song but I was definitely expecting some crazy-ass dancing. Not… this. :\

The song is not my cup of tea, but I kind of like the video. I like that she’s mostly alone in it, for once (except for Clarence Clemons, R.I.P.). No distracting (but beautiful) dancers and scenery, just her and the city (and that incredible outfit).

I wish the video was more like her performance of this song.  Her live performances are always intense and this one fell flat.

i like the fact that she try simple music video.

Somehow,i think her usual style stick to her better. At least, this video proove that Lady Gaga is more suitable to do more extraordinary video with her extraordinary attitude:)

We’re so used to her videos being entertaining, that this one doesn’t appeal to us. The song sounds pretty epic…. but I do agree the video’s kind of boring.

Her eye’s are really throwing me off though..for some odd reason. HAHAHA.

i really like the song, but i expected something much edgier (pun not intended) and intense. Especially on the first chorus… too mellow for the song
