Remember when the very first Harry Potter came out in 2001? Ten years later and we’re at the end of a saga (sob*). This video is the very first screen test that Daniel, Rupert, and Emma did together. It’s kind of adorable. They were so little!
The video continues with a compilation of all the Harry Potter movies from beginning to now. They show how the characters have grown, and there are a couple of behind the scenes shots too. Enjoy!
I was 11 when Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone came out. How old were you guys? [MTV]

Oh I loved this! I was 11 when this came out, too. I’m so excited for the final film, but I gotta say, the part where Harry grabs Voldemort freaks me out! I’m like, “Don’t touch him!”

I guess I was 15. It was seeing the movie that made me want to read the books. I had no interest in them prior to that, so yay for the movies.

I had to be either nine and ten. I rebelled for awhile trying to act like I was too cool to read it. But, alas, I fell in love with that damn Potter kid.

I was eleven. July 15th marks the day that I officially have nothing left to live for.

I was 11. And I don’t remember reading anything similar to the last [grabbing] scene in the book…

I was 11 as well.
Also, does anyone know where that scene where Harry and Voldermort are on top of a crumbling building and Harry says something along the lines of “C’mon, Tom, let’s finish this the way we started it. Together” came from? For some reason, I do not remember that being in the book.

@malem_mini@xanga - thank goodness i’m not the only one who feels that way about that scene.

I was eleven when the first book came out. I remember wanting so badly to get a damn letter.
Watching the trailers gives me goosebumps. I don’t want it to end. ]=

I was eleven, but I didn’t start watching the movies until I was 18, because my parents didn’t allow it.

I was 12
@malem_mini@xanga - I’d been trying to remember when that happened … it’s good to know I wasn’t just being paranoid/forgetful.

Is it just me or is Emma losing her British accent (possibly do the filming of Perks of a Wallflower)?

I was 9 when the first movie came out. It’s so weird growing up watching the movies seeing how they grew up too. Gotta buy part 2 when it comes out on DVD

That was so cute! And I was eleven.

I was 10. READ THE BOOKS FIRST GUYS. Seriously.
