My favorite blog, Lost at E Minor, just posted a great article on Hungover Owls. This Tumblr website consists of pictures of dazed and confused looking owls (also cute) along with captions of what they would be saying as owls who partied a little too hard last night.
“I’m tryin’ to have a positive outlook here, so I’m gonna say that last night I was…ambitious.”
“Yes, I may be sprawled out on the floor right now, but dammit, you look me in my one good eye and show me some respect.”
“Get me a coffee, a couple aspirin, and a mop. And then get the fuck outta here.”
“To be honest, I’ve really only been picking up like, a third of what you’ve been saying there. So if it’s really important, just say it three times.”

I. LOVE. THIS. Sooooooo cuuuuute! Because A) I love owls, and B) I can totally relate to most of those captions, and C) this restored my will to put up with the earth after just finishing reading about the abortion billboard douchebag.

I think there’s another one that’s like Hipster/Art School Owl. SO funny because my boyfriend was an art major in college, though not anywhere near as weird or hipster-ish as some art kids, and we can both totally relate; he can on a firsthand level, and me on a secondhand level from hearing his horror stories hahahaha

I love this so much! There are tons of youtube videos on owls and they are hilarious creatures.

lol Some of them, I will admit, are laugh-out-loud worthy (I went to the website), but for the most part… The captions don’t all relate to a hangover… some of them are just general… and some of them don’t even look like they belong with the picture… honestly… i could have come up with better captions.
But… overall… To answer the pending question… I will give Hungover Owls a shot… But, I think, at the end of the day, l will still prefer LOLCats

The dialogue is funny but I think owls are creepy. I will refer this to my roommate, though, because she loves them.
