i think we should institute a new social policy: anyone who reads an article from the Onion and thinks it’s factual should automatically be sterilized.  it’s for the ultimate good of the human race.

The Onion was used a source for an AP English exam a couple of years ago, and many students didn’t understand that it was satirical. I don’t know about them, but to me it’s pretty obvious that the paper’s a joke…

The onion is satire… but reveal some undermining level of truth. A few of those comments can reflect some overall truth, even if the article is false and mocking the truth around us.
