I wish her well and I hope she is happy for a long time in her relationship. The ring is not something I would want for an engagement ring, but then I get the feeling any guy that I would date seriously would know that about me. However, if he did buy something like that, I’d accept it because a relationship is more than a ring and I wouldn’t freak out b/c fiance bought me a ring that I didn’t like.

and i though paris hilton’s engagement ring was gaudy. and someone finally put beyonce’s ring to shame. jay-z proposed to beyonce with a “only” 14-carat ring. so 20 carats? ehh, no big deal hahaha (i’m being sarcastic obviously)
this is just my opinion, but i feel like the bigger the rock is, the gaudier it looks. like, that ring is so massive, one would think it’s fake. 3 carats is the biggest i would go when that time comes for me. and 2 million dollars? jesus, buy a house. donate to japan. feed cambodia. do SOMETHING besides wear the value of a small country on your finger.

I can understand how some girls would love such huge rings, but definitely not for me. Way too many carats and I’m clumsy so I might damage the setting or lose it.
