@mypandabear@xanga - Give the guy a break! I’d rather have a happy, relaxed President than a stressed out, unhappy President who never has any fun. That way he can make decisions calmly and rationally without having a nervous breakdown. Does that mean he should take vacations constantly? Of course not! But hell, he has the money and the opportunity, so why wouldn’t he? This nation does NOT rely solely on the President. Just because he has an important job doesn’t mean that he has to do presidential shit 24/7. He is human… just like the rest of us.

he’s only in ireland for about 24 hours, he’s visiting where his ancestors came from and meeting with the taoiseach, or prime minister there. give the guy a break for having a pint, it’s a part of the culture, literally.

Sweet! I love the Obama’s. It’s nice to see that he’s taking a day off and vacationing. He does take his work with him everywhere he goes. Bush took vacations too so I don’t even wanna hear it. And about those natural disasters, everything is being done that can be done. If you care about the natural disasters so much then pack your bags and go help out yourself and stop bitching.

I like Obama, a lot.

I don’t have a 24 hr/day job, so why should he?  He deserves a little vacation.

Plus, he doesn’t own the country.  Sure he plays an important role, but it’s ALL OF YOU bitter people that blame everything on the president that should be doing something to help out.
Is it his fault the tornado came?  no.

is it his sole responsibility to help them out?  no.
it’s the efforts of all of us.  not just one.
