Despite yesterday being Friday the 13th, I actually had a really great day! I met with designer Jeffery Monteiro for a potential summer internship and felt so good about it afterward I decided to treat myself to a new outfit from French Connection. Feel free to share your opinions on my new dress!

The name of the dress is the Sahara Cotton Dress and while it may look like a floral pattern, up close it’s actually camo – which I usually hate but made an exception because it’s orange and not the typical army green color.

Although it’s kind of difficult to tell, the back of the dress is lined with adorable little bows all the way from the neckline to the bottom of the dress. This little embellishment is one of the major reasons I bought the dress, I think the bows are too cute.

Again, because of the camo, you can’t really tell the bows are there, but if you look close enough you can kind of see them. Since I haven’t gone clothes shopping in literally months and because I got a new job as a hostess where I’ll be making more money, I decided to treat myself. It also helped that the dress was on sale and 25% off!
