Any woman can wear this if she doesn’t have thunder thighs. I personally stay away from these shorts, because I look like I have 2 walking sausage links as my legs, which makes me look shorter.

well i’m 5’1, and i can’t.  makes me look so stumpy.  >.<

I think they’re fine. If you’re thin they tend to make the legs look super long. At least thats how I see it on my friends. I can’t wear them well because I’m short and fat so I tend to look shorter and fatter in them.

I’m 4’10″ and I can’t wear them because they end up below my knees and it looks really awkward. I do find long-ish shorts once in a while that fit me like bermudas would fit “normal” people though, and I love ‘em!

Uh why not?  I sure as hell do.  Eat me.

I’m also 5’0″ and I personally can’t at all, cause I have a thicker lower half so it just brings weird attention to me.

But my friend, who is the same height as us, wears them and doesn’t look too bad, but she has chicken legs. I personally would choose short shorts over bermudas, but it depends what you think looks good on you!

if they go above the knee and are slim-fitting, yes! 

nay. but then again, i’m 5’6″ so it’s not really my choice, is it?

if they fit at the right length, then yes. i’m 5’2 and i wear them pretty often.

The taller and slimmer you are, and most importantly, the slimmer your thighs are, the better these shorts will look on you. They are not the best for elongating your legs that’s for sure…

IMO, they look like crap on anyone. They looks less crappy on tall and skinny girls, but it’s still not flattering.

I’m 5’4″, but even when I was around 5’2″ and shorter, I always wore capri’s and bermudas…. I still am….

You should try them on and see how they look.

Definitely agreee with shpadoikle about finding longish shorts for taller people  that fit like bermuda’s on me! 4’11 asian petite woman, but I can only wear shorts if they end at or slightly above the knee, otherwise I look stumpy Although I’m bottom-heavy so shorts in general look strange on me.

Judging by your profile picture, however, so long as you find the right length, you’d look good in any type

They’re my favorite type of shorts! As long as they are bermuda length on you, it”s fine…just don’t get bermudas that are super long..

Short people can wear whatever we want.  I only 5′ too and so long as I don’t trip on excess fabric, I wear what I want.  I always say, “It’s not how I look to you in my clothes, it’s how comfortable I am in my clothes”.  

I actually think they look best on short women. I’m also 5′ (maybe plus 1 inch) and I love wearing them.

umm i don’t think they’d be a problem.. maybe it also depends on what you wear on top and what shoes you wear too?

if they’re above the knee I think they look fine. I wear them to get out of the old pattern of short shorts. gets boring to wear those all the time…

Depends on how thin your legs are.  I’m 5’1″ and I’ll wear them sometimes, but they’re not as flattering as shorter shorts.  I exercise a lot so I have a good deal of muscle on my legs and bermuda shorts kind of make them look stumpy.

Capris work for me if they’re the right length. o.o

Yeah, I’m pretty short and I wear them.  I like their length because they’re modest and covering.  I don’t like really short shorts.

They’re fine. Just make sure you get a pair that fits your body size. But of course you can wear them!

If you get petite sizing, they typically look okay – but if I get normal sizing, I sometimes look like I have a weird highwater hahaha

I think theyre fine. most places have bermuda shorts in the petite dept as well. 

Oooh… That’s a tough one… I remember one of my guy friends said “I think it’s cute that you’re pedal pushers look like pants on you.” It made me laugh and well, I really don’t dress to impress other people on a daily basis so it didn’t discourage me from continuing to wear them. They’re comfortable.
