My boyfriend’s Aunt named their two girls Manhattan and Rain. Because her hubby proposed in Manhattan and it was raining hahahah.

I think the reason Moroccan is strange is because it is an adjective. Naming someone an adjective is strange.

Monroe’s okay, but just because Mariah doesn’t have a middle name doesn’t mean she shouldn’t.  But I’m also someone who thinks children should have middle names *shrugs*
Moroccan.  It’s not the worst (Morocco might be better?)… I think it’ll grow on me, but could you imagine when he’s like 40 & he says, “Hi, my name is Moroccan”?  Oy.  I’d go by Marco (not exactly a derivative, but close enough).  But at least he has a normal, and significant, middle name.

Moroccan Scott sounds like the name of a movie character and I don’t particularly like naked boobie holding pictures of pregnant women. I mean, okay so you were pregnant. We get it. No need to see a naked picture of you and your stomach on your wall (or in a magazine).
