Today I was reading InStyle and I found out that the bandage dress was coined by the infamous Herve Leger because of the way the “stretchy layers wrap around the body to create a sexy silhouette”. Indeed, bandage dresses are pretty spicy, but would you wear one?
Herve Leger is the master of bandage dresses, with most of the collections consisting of these tight dresses. Here are a few from Herve Leger:
These are all well over $1000 each, but if you are interested in wearing a bandage dress here are a few that I found for more affordable prices.
Top Shop: $110
Mod Cloth: $58
shopakira.com: $49
Forever 21: $16
shopakira: $50
If there is one thing that is unanimous about the bandage dress it is that you need to have confidence to work this look. You betta WERQ.
Would you wear a bandage dress?

Yeah, I like them! I think they look really cute

I don’t really like them. They’re kind of weird looking, but more power to the people who can rock them. I just always see girls who shouldn’t be wearing them in them and it’s completely turned me off.

I have a black one from H&M and I love it! Makes me look curvy in all the right places.

I would wear some of these, but unfortunately, I can’t afford the ones I like.

Well, technically Herve Leger (the man) didn’t design those Herve Leger dresses … I don’t think I’d wear one of these dresses, I admire the girls who wear them and who look good in them, but it’s just not my style.
@sunflowersforlove@xanga - Thank you for saying that last sentence! I didn’t really want to say it, because I’m sure some people will react badly to that statement, but I agree with you

love the third and last one. IT all depends on the cut and how it ooks for me to wear it. I have a wide body so horizontal lines are out for me.

The one that looks like a black and white sun appeals to me so much, especially on a graphic level.

If I had a fantastic body I would.

Love the Modcloth one! I totally would – I love my bandage skirt.

If I had the body, yeah I would.

I dont have a body that would look good in a bandage dress!

As long as it was classy looking like the second to last one or the first one then I would wear it.

I have a “bandage” dress from BEBE

I don’t have the confidence…
