I think it’s manly for guys to have hair downstairs.  Keeping it nicely trimmed is a definite bonus, but completely bare… yeahhhh let’s leave that for MY downstairs, just sayin’

I think it’s just fine if both sexes just do some “landscaping” down there. I don’t think it’s necessary for either to be bare. It’s a pain in the ass. 

I really don’t care. my current bf shaves down there, but my first two didn’t, and it really makes no difference to me at all. I shave just cause it’s more comfortable for me.

If I have to maintain my pubic hair (I epilate every other week and do a landing strip), he has to too.  I don’t like him completely hairless (I’ve had a lover do that before and it just looked odd to me), but groomed is great.

i don’t mind hair down there, but not too much!  my boyfriend trims with scissors.  haha, there’s still hair, but to quote what you said, it’s no “jungle”.    haha, and that’s all i want, just not so much that it’s overwhelming but i wouldn’t ask a guy to shave or wax.  it’s not a turn off if there’s some hair. 

I’d prefer his entire body hairless, whether he chooses to wax or shave. hair on his head and subtle stubble on his face is okay but everywhere else—clean shaven is a turn on or like a male pornstar. I agree with what everyone’s said … completely hairless would be … awkward, I think. I’d rather just have him trim.
As for the laser thing, I think you should go for it. I started getting my bikini lasered one year or one year and a half ago (but I’ve never been very consistent) and I’m almost done. Now I’m getting the full thing lasered, but I’ve only gone to one session (agh, gotta schedule another one!) and hope to be done with it in one year. I think it’s an investment
I’m done with my armpits and the bottom half of my legs (because I only recently started the top part).

I kind of feel the same way about women. Trim for sure so it doesnt look gross. But complete hair removal? ehhh. I’ll do it if the guy really wants it, but as a general rule, I’d rather not. It looks like 10 year old pussy.

It’s natural to have hair, and I really don’t care. I only shave my bikini area for dance (embarrassing bit if your pubes stick out). But I really don’t care about my boyfriend. As long as he smells nice, and doesn’t have a beard or chest/back hair, I’m totally fine with hair down there. 

Bare-as-babies people gross me out. We’re adults. We’re supposed to have “hair down there”. I used to shave completely bald until I had my daughter and realised our downstairs looked the same. Yeah… A little too creepy for me.

As a guy, lemme say this: 

1) I’m a ridiculously hairy guy. I always have been, it’s just something that comes with the territory. I can’t manipulate how much hair I grow or where, so sorry.

2) That being said, HELL NO to waxing. Imagine the toughest, strongest velcro you’ve ever had to separate. Now imagine it, not just by the most sensitive part of your body, but covering your prized possessions, and THEN surrounding it in spades. So, no waxing.
3) Unlike you ladies, we men have some more finer “contours” down there that a razor just shouldn’t go… ever. Believe me, I’ve tried to go clean shaven down there a few times before. When it’s all said an done, it looks like a shaved chinchilla- cut up and scared.

So, we trim… as best we can.

I shave so that I have a landing strip but I never shave it all off because I’m not nine years old.

I prefer my man to be natural. I would think that the waxing procedure would be much more painful for a man than it is for a woman. The most sensitive parts of our genitalia are hidden away whereas a mans most sensitive parts are “out there” so to speak.

I have no preference visually, but when a guy has a good bit of hair on his shaft it can make sex incredibly irritating. My only request is that the shaft be trimmed if necessary; the rest is all good to me (though completely hairless doesn’t sound like much of a turn-on, tbh). Comfort is key!

I think it looks ridiculous for guys to shave, but I have done it before when a girl was adamant about it.

I am  MAN, i am proud in the masculinity GOD has given me. and i will not forsake that by trying to make myself look like a prepubescent child. to any female who complains about men who have hair…you still have growing up to do. As for men who dont like the hairs growing all over them. your body is maturing faster than you are… time to play catch up 

I like hair down their on men and woman. I think shaved genitalia look strange. I don’t even care for them to trim it. I think it looks masculine on men and what I consider TRULY feminine on women. Maybe that’s a product of the generation and culture I grew up in. It seems to be much more of an issue with younger people.

I also have learned that to a degree it’s a racial preference. People of African, Asian, Native American descent naturally tend toward having less body hair than Caucasians and people of European descent, and I’ve heard that body hair tends to be more of a turn off. But with media and fashion growing ever more revealing I think more men and women have begun to shave more parts of their anatomy. I’m sort of a hippie at heart.

I’m not into overly hairy men. For example, I wouldn’t go near a guy who has a hairy chest. But I have no problems with pubes in that region. My boyfriend shaved his pubes once and I was more repulsed by that than when he has it naturally!

Having hair down there isn’t a turn off so long as they are groomed, though I expect my downstairs to be clean.

@BimmerPhile@xanga - I actually have very little body hair, naturally. I do shave my armpits and only the bottom half of my legs, though. The hair on my thighs is so sparse, blonde and soft that you can’t even really tell it’s there.

Well, I like some body hair on guys anyway (I find it manly and sexy), but in my experience…it can make sex unpleasant. Obviously if they shave there will be a bit of grow out, and that gives a sort of whisker burn affect which hurts! And, the same for if they “manscape”. It can get itchy and weird. 

I like them au-natural. 

Ya know, if guys expect us to be hairless, perhaps they should be too.
