Details: Lola is originally from Australia and studies design. She works in textiles. She said she usually shops at thrifts shops, then said she pretty much shops everywhere.
While Lola’s vibrantly colored style will certainly be too bright for some, her outfit stood out to us because all the colors and patterns seem to work out and she pulled it off very well.

I’d like it if the pants weren’t so unflattering. If the pants were switched out for a solid colored skirt, and had a solid colored bag, it would be fine. I am all for patterns and bright colors (I’m often told that I remind people of a box of crayons lol.), but that is too much even for me.

The pants are very unflattering but other then that-this is street fashion. It’s not all flats, jeans and a tshirt. Not everyone is into that. Personally I wouldn’t wear it and you can’t wear it to work at all but on the weekends if you’re hanging out you should be able to wear whatever the hell you want. More power to her.

I like the betsey johnson type of funky patterns, but I haven’t seen the japanese pattern clashing style work on many people. maybe I’m biased and think the vibrantly colored street style looks best on cute and petite asian girls:P

Ive never been one to really like clashing patterns, so this doesnt really float my boat. Im sure each peice alone she could pull off, but all of them together seems a little gaudy to me. but thats most clashing patterns, imo. If she likes it, let her rock it.
