When you look at pictures of Cindy Crawford, you can’t escape her mole. In fact, it’s what makes her famous. It doesn’t affect how pretty her face is, but actually acts as more of a trademark for her. It’s easy to see why instead of hiding it with thick powder, she proudly shows her mole to the world.

But I’m not Cindy Crawford and since I was young, I’ve been ashamed of the mole on my face. People teased me because, let’s face it, there aren’t many ‘mole people’.

I always tell my Mum that I want to get rid of my mole. But every time I mention it she just says that my mole makes me unique and that I should be proud to have one. But, regardless of my Mum’s attempts at self-esteem, for years I bought powder to hide my mole because I felt ashamed of the way it made me look.

But as the years have gone by, I’ve noticed a lot more celebrities with famous moles, and I’ve found a few advantages to being one of ‘the mole girls:’

1. People know who I am because of my mole.

2. It’s a part of me, it makes me unique, and I should wear it with pride

So, here I am today, no longer hiding my mole.

What about you, Lovelies? Do you have a mole you’ve kept hidden for years? Which celebrity moles are you crazy for?
