Kim Kardashian is in love and she wants the East Coast to know it.
The reality starlet, who was born and raised on the West Coast, is currently dating New Jersey Nets star Kris Humphries (Think they bonded over their families’ unconventional use of the letter “K” in first names?). She’s been spotted cheering on the forward and his teammates at numerous games this season, but coast-to-coast commuting must get pretty tiring.
So Kim’s come up with a solution.
She plans on calling the Big Apple home by the start of the 2011 NBA season. Telling Us Magazine moving closer to her beau is “the next logical step” in their five month relationship, it won’t be no work and all play for Kim.
Friends say the move will also be for business reasons: Kourtney and Kim Take New York will most likely film another season.
Would you move (whether it’s down the street or across the country) for a significant other?

If we had been together for a while or at least knew that we were going somewhere.. yeah. Also stability is a factor though. But for her its obviously not a problem.
And hey, Im in Connecticut, I dont mind going to Dash again and seeing her ! :]

In my experience, moving for a guy has not worked out. I would definitely wait longer than 5 months. BUT she can afford it, so it would be a pretty decision for her [if even a decision at all; she could easily have 2 homes].

Sure I’d move if I was really into the guy. Maybe not after 5 months though.

I’d move for my boyfriend, but we’ve been dating for over two years haha. Actually, he moved to California from Texas for me when we first dated and that was only after three months of dating. The reason it didn’t work out was financial reasons, but I can’t see Kim having the same issue haha. I’m sure if it doesn’t work out she can move wherever else she wants to with no issue.

I would. Before I marry my husband I moved to stay with him.

If I thought I would like the place I was moving to, sure.

Depends how long we’ve been dating and how strong our relationship is.

I most definitely would. Kurt is moving from Missouri to Washington state for me. I’d do the same if it came to that.

I moved overseas for my husband- and I stayed there, though I could have moved back home, and wanted to. Sometimes you have to sacrifice for your relationship. Actually, all the time you have to sacrifice for your relationship if it’s the real thing.

I think for her it works out. She has money and she has a business in New York so it’s not like she’s just dropping everything for him. I moved away from my ex after 10 months of dating, and I would have moved back if I could have. He would have come out for me if he could have afforded it, but we broke up so I’m glad I didn’t move back even though that was my home, but if I would have moved for other reasons it would have been awesome.

Yeah, she has the money to do so but I know this won’t work out for her. She goes through men like underwear. As for me, no.

I almost moved 5 hours away to be with my ex. I’m really glad I didn’t now though.
In order for me to even consider moving, we would have to be together for a long time, and I’d have to trust him completely…it would be really hard though. I think I’ve been traumatized from this.

Interesting. I’d have to trust whoever I was dating a lot and have a lot of history/time with him before I’d do this.

I moved from town to town (only about 30 minutes away) for my bf of about 5 months…and we’re still going strong! But I can remember one that I almost wanted to move across the state for and he turned out being a dickhead who broke my heart. It just depends on if it’s the right person.
guest
I’d move, for certain.

I’ve already done it with my bf..

How many basketball players is she gonna fuck? I watched an episode of her show once and she stated she was tired of dating rappers and basketball players, however she hasn’t stopped doing just that. I can understand wanting to date someone whose already got their own money but there are more wealthy guys out there than just basketball players.

Ive been with my fiance for almost a year and a half now, and even in that “short” time,I would follow him anywhere. Or, at least try to. I would finish the schooling im in right now, and then follow him. and I know he would do the same for me

Ok, Kim. Let’s date every athlete on the face of the planet.
