May’s issue of Allure features former The Hills star Lauren Conrad as its cover model.
With perfectly groomed eyebrows, an off-the-shoulder sweater, and a smile that reveals the slightest glimpse of her teeth, I think she looks pretty fantastic and natural (as natural as can be when you’re on the cover of a magazine, anyway). If I had to choose whether or not to classify her as “sexy” or “undesirable,” she’d secure a place on the former list, rather than the latter.
But Lauren wouldn’t agree with me.
She told the mag:
I’m not a sexy person. I’m OK with it. I’ve never been the sexy girl. Whenever I’ve had a boyfriend, he’s always been like, “Oh, you’re cute.”
Well LC, in the words of Ron Burgundy…agree to disagree! In the days since the cameras stopped filming her daily life, she’s managed to keep a relatively low profile compared to some of her co-stars (Speidi, anyone?), author some books, design some clothes, and snag a non-douchey boyfriend.
If you ask me, success and humility are always sexy.

She’s one of those conventionally attractive people with no sex appeal. Eh. I’m biased, because the only thing I dislike more than 99.9% of reality TV shows is when the stars of reality TV shows get shit (like book deals!) that talented people are busting their asses for.

I think she is pretty. She has a nice body. She may have a good personality. She may be humble and all of those things, but I agree with her assessment, she isn’t sexy. Sexy is not the first thing I would think of when I look at her or talk to her.

I think “sexy” is way overrated. Its not even a beautiful sounding word. She is beautiful, smart, successful. Those are words I think all girls should want to be, not so much sexy.

I think she’s very pretty and she’s driven. That’s sexy enough. The stereotypical definition of “sexy” doesn’t apply to anyone I can think of.

I think she’s definitely cute. I definitely get more butterflies and warm fuzzy feelings when my boyfriend calls me cute and beautiful rather than sexy. I mean, we go for the word sexy when we’re getting down to busy, but when he’s going for making me smile and blush he says beautiful and cute. To me, sexy is like parallel with sexual activities. When someone calls someone sexy I assume they want to have sex with them haha. Not to say the same can’t be said with cute and beautiful, but I just think those words are better compliments.
