hahaha, aw! that was super sweet and she’s pretty

oh my gosh that is SO cute! but if someone did that for me, I’d be horrifically embarrassed. it’d be a cute memory to look back on, though!

and to answer the question, no I haven’t. for junior prom last year, a friend and I mutually agreed to go together because he wanted to go with my friend but she wasn’t going. then he ‘officially’ asked me by passing me this note in class. it was really awkward, because he’s an awkward and weird person, hahaha. this year, I don’t think anyone will ask me, but I think I’m going to ask an already-graduated friend to go with me through AIM or something.

When I was a senior, my best friend asked me for my car keys so she could leave her P.E. bag in my car instead of carrying it around school.
When I got to my car at the end of the day, there were a bunch of drawings telling a story, like a comic … the last drawing had a boy asking a girl if she wanted to go to prom with him.
This was one of my closest friends so I would’ve said yes no matter how he’d asked me (we went to 5 dances together, that prom was the last one), but it was nice that he actually took the time to do something like that

awe so cute! i asked my guy friend to prom. actually, i didn’t even ask. i was texting him in class one morning and my friend took my phone and asked him and he was like, seriously? and i said, why not, and he said, okay! haha. so lame. i have no regrets asking him though

Aww!  So sweet!  I wish my man could carry a tune, let alone write a song! ha ha

That’s cute =P But I never went to prom. It wasn’t worth it in my mind.

No over the top prom proposal for me.  I asked the guy over instant messenger.  Easy pie.

my guy friend tricked me into thinking he was asking another girl. He said he was going to do a card trick for her and that he’ll call me when he’s going to do it at lunch. He called and once I got there, there was already a group of people watching and the only available spot for me to watch was behind him. He made her pick out a card and put it back in the deck. He shuffled and picked out a card and asked if it was her’s. She said no and he did it like 3 times and she kept saying no. Finally she said, “YOU SUCK! THIS is the card!” and she reaches under her shirt and held up a fake card in front of me that said, “The trick’s on you. Will you go to prom with me? (:” He pulled out a bouquet of flowers and I started crying because I couldn’t believe that FINALLY after 18 years, I got asked to prom in the cutest way EVER <3 (:

I asked my guy friend to my prom. He was really into Frisbee, and we would go once a week with like 20 people to a park and play for a couple hours. I bought a bright yellow Frisbee just for this day and wrote on the back of it, ‘PROM?’ and threw it to him. Luckily, he didn’t catch it and he saw it and ran over to me and hugged me and said of course. I thought it was cute that I, a girl, asked a boy to prom in a cute way instead of the guy always doing it.

me and my prom date had camo for our prom theme too.  we’re from the country so he had a camo vest & orange tie and I had an orange dress with a camo garder. i would’ve had a camo dress but i couldnt find one in my price range.

The way I was asked wasn’t as over-the-top as hers, but it was cute nonetheless. Senior year, I only had 5 classes so I was able to leave school early. My boyfriend at the time and I were going to meet up so he told me to meet him in the front of the school.. His car was parked right in front of the entrance and it had a bright orange poster that read “Collyn, will you go to prom with me? Yes or YES?” then he came from the side with a white rose. It was cute lol.

Wow. I would be lucky if someone texted me asking me to prom.

My sophomore year the guy asked me, but just kinda asked. My Junior year my best friend and I agreed to go together, but I still went all out in asking him. I put balloons all over his desk while he was at lunch and stuff. And my senior year I asked my boyfriend because he’s not creative and I am. I painted, “Prom?” on the wall of the basement we were painting. Not much, but I figured it was still nice. lol. I’ll probably get asked to go this year too. 

i have to admit, i’m usually not into mushy gushy cute stuff, but this was adorable! 

@swalllowed_in_the_sea@xanga - I’m with you! I’m not usually into this stuff at all but it was really adorable and well-planned, and her reaction was so sweet.

i had a crush on this boy for about four years. we dated in sixth grade but i broke up with him just because i was young and immature. i continued to like him till my junior year of high school but things just never seemed to work out right. that year we started liking eachother more. im a Varsity Cheerleader at my highschool. during one of the biggest games of the year during halftime, all the cheerleaders were out talking to friends off the field. when it was time for us to come back to cheer, there was a HUGE banner that read “Tori, Homecoming? <3Connor” in pink and silver glitter. it was absolutely amazing. people in the stands were taking pictures of it and i felt like i was in a Taylor Swift music video. the next day he asked me out & were still dating to this day(: i would post a picture of that night but im not sure how, let me know if you can help!
