Let’s not waste time with this “ladies glow” crap: When I work out, I sweat. *gasp*
But, unlike many of the dudes next to me on the elliptical, I never smell when I get sweaty. (Aside: why do some guys smell SO BAD at the gym? Don’t they shower?) Thus, sometimes when I get home, I give my sports bra and workout tights the sniff test, and, confession time: if they don’t stink to high heaven, I’ll usually wear it again to another workout.
Do you wash your workout clothes after each use? Are you supposed to? Am I gross? Or do you sometimes cheat, like me?

I recycle my sports bra a few times, but that’s because I only have two. But if I had it my way, I would wash all of my workout clothes that are damp at the end of my workout. If I didn’t sweat in my clothes, I would probably recycle them again.

I tend to wear them a few times before I wash them, I have a variety so I route them through and then wash them.

reuse a few times.

As a college student with a gym class, I have to wear the same shirt twice a week, so I don’t make an extra laundry trip for it. I also only have one pair of leggins that are really workout appropriate, so I wear them maybe 3 times a week. Screw it. I’m not trying to look cute.

I am a terrible sweater when I work out so I have to wash them after every use. I would totally reuse them if I didn’t sweat like a man!! LOL. I say if you can’t wring them out when you are finished working out and if they don’t reek then fold em up and wear em again!! Save yourself laundry

I wash after each use even on times when I dont sweat a lot.

Reuse for a week. I only walk my dog.

I always wash after a workout, even though I don’t sweat a lot. Hot yoga is another story(those things are going straight into the washer) but I really can’t imagine reusing clothes I’ve had a workout in.

I usually sweat pretty bad so I end up washing my pants and shirt

I wash on each use even if I only work out for 15 minutes. My ma’s a Nazi. She makes me wash if I leave the house to get mail.

i go for atleast a week not washing my workout pants..its gross but, they don’t smell so why wash them? hahah.

I sweat a lot, AND I reuse for about five days to a week because I don’t do laundry that often. I just hang them up to dry after I workout. I’m only working out at home by myself though. Is there any reason why I shouldn’t do this? Bacteria, other grossness?

@everythingeverything@xanga - I do the same thing, except I go to the gym. And it’s just my shorts and bra. I’ve got 2 pairs each that I use, but I prefer my UA shorts because they have pockets haha. I sweat A LOT though so after 3 days I’ll usually switch up then wash everything on Saturday.

Every week!

I work out 2-3 times a week. I wear my sports bra & shorts for the week, but I usually only wear my shirts once.

I wash on every use. I assume that just because I can’t smell my own stench doesn’t mean that other people can’t smell it. I am used to my smell.

For the gym… I’ll rewear things a couple times… but cycle through outfits to give them time to air out and fabreeze them.
At home… I’ll wear the same workout set all week long. LOL

Stick it in the dryer for 10 minutes with a little smelly cloth or i febreeze the clothes the night before and there ya have it, clean workout clothes! I usually do it twice or 3 times a week. I can’t wash my workout clothes every single day.

I have no shame in wearing my workout clothes at least 3 or 4 times before washing (which is about how often I go weekly, sometimes more). Unless I go with a partner–I try to wear clean clothes to the gym if someone is forced to sit in the same car as me on the ride home!

glad I’m not the only one. hahaha

I’m a cross country runner… which means I have an abundance of sports bras, Nike shorts, and running shirts (not to mention nearly 100 t-shirts).
My clothes get really icky and wet after practice… so even when I forgot clothes for after school practice, I’m super hesitant about putting on my clothes from the morning.
