Everyone has those perfect items that they absolutely cannot go without! These are mine…
1.) Joe’s Skinny Jeans in black (pictured above). I love them so much I have two pairs. They were a little pricey but I absolutely adore them because they can go with anything- flats, boots, lacy shirts, standard t-shirts, you name it. They have also lasted me some time considering I’ve had them for the last three years.
2.) Frye Boots. Again, like the Joe’s, these were a little costly (albeit a Christmas present). Yet they were so worth it (right, Mom?). Walking around New York City can really wear down your shoes. I have gone through a bunch of boots and even more flats than I care to admit. The Frye’s, however, are made from such quality leather that they will last and look awesome with jeans or dresses. The above boot is the one I have, the Billy Pull-On.
3.) Knit Tees. I have a lot and rotate wearing them pretty regularly. I like to dress for comfort and knit or graphic T-shirts from Urban or Anthropologie are what I’m usually wearing on any standard school or work day. Above t-shirt is from Anthro.
4.) Over-Sized sweater/cardigan. I love wearing big sweaters over a dress or a tank top and jeans. They’re comfortable and help to complete outfits while keeping you warm and cozy!
5.) Scarves. They always add a little something extra to an outfit that might otherwise be boring.
What are the essential pieces to your wardrobe, Lovelies?

Cute =) I love oversized sweaters too. I usually wear them with an embellished tank top and dark wash jeans. It looks great without being uncomfortable.

My essential pieces are a lot less, supposedly, comfortable than yours.
1. I must have platform “tranny” heels. Generally they’re 5″ hidden platform shoes or boots. I love them – I live in them.
2. A great sheer above-the-knee dress. I wear it with skinny jeans, a slip underneath, leggings, thigh high boots, awesome tights or nylons and etc. I love sheer dresses.
3. A good pair of jeans. Mine are actually from the men’s department because I can never find real, non-stretch, jeans in the woman’s department that fit me well.
4. A trench coat. Chic and useful and necessary.
5. An excellent hat. I have all sorts from all decades. I even knit my own sometimes. I love hats and they’re great accessories.
Honorable mention: Oversized sunglasses.

1. hoodies. my favorite is a dark green one from PacSun.
2. knit tights. nylon makes me itch too much.
3. cheap jeans. i’m in the process of losing weight, and it seems like i go down a size every couple of months. i also wear my jeans out really quickly, and i love buying new ones to fit changing styles. so i go for the cheaper ones. i just bought SIX pairs on clearance from Target for like $30 altogether.
4. simple, solid color cardigans.
5. Mary Jane heels.

I love scarves, but it’s not usually cold here so I feel like too much of an idiot to wear one over my t-shirt or tank. Whenever I see them on someone else that could be wearing a bikini, of course they look adorable.
