On a scale of 1-10, how hideous are these bad boys?
May I remind you that we are talking a combination of at least 3 trends here: sequins, platforms, oxfords.
These get a full 10 in my book!

I’m not liking these. The platforms ruin the classy shape of oxfords.

…You’ve got to be kidding me. Almost every big fashion blogger has them or wants them, I’m dying to get them(at least in black, not glitter) and they’re constantly sold out/sought after. And how in the world do you get oxford from that shoe? It’s a boot with a platform heel.
guest
wow.
guest
I would like sequin oxfords, but not platforms…

@lilblucherrygrl@xanga - Interesting. I had no idea they were so popular with others! I see oxford in there with the lace-up, but to each their own!

Really? They aren’t that awful. I don’t want them but I’ve seen much worse.

10, unless it’s for a halloween costume party lol, then 9?

They aren’t that bad.

They’re not that bad at all. Sure, it would be better if they were black patent than glitter, but hardly the ugliest shoes around! Have you SEEN Jimmy Choo + Ugg collaboration? lol
guest
I personally think they are hideous!

I might like them more if the heel were black instead of wood colored. Otherwise, I don’t think they’re that bad. Not something I’d get, but they’re not too hideous.
guest
@amymichelle - Ah I see. Didn’t know that could count as an oxford. My bad.
guest
I’d wear them if they were black.

I actually don’t think they’re bad at all, they’re from Jeffrey Campbell and when worn with the right outfit they look really cute:

@lilblucherrygrl@xanga - I like the ones that are tapestry-like, but even though I have glittery shoes, these are just too “whoaaaa.”
I would love to see how someone wears them though, I know I could never pull them off for the love of me.
guest
@not3000@xanga - I guess I can understand why some people might not like the fact that it’s so shiny. I’ve seen people make it work by just wearing black jeans, a cute blouse and a boyfriend blazer. It can give the outfit a pop without overwhelming as long as you do it right =)

these make me want to barf. they look kinda like peewee herman shoes when he does that tequila dance…if anyone knows what that means…
guest
They’re not my style but someone with style could rock them. They remind me of something you put on your dresser.
guest
Saw these in a store for $275. Insane….
guest
I think they are a lot of fun, then again I’m into the whole glam rock thing. The only qualm I have is the heel isn’t glitter as well. If I’m doing glitter, damn it I want GLITTER!
guest
I want a pair. In purple, of course.
guest
They’re gaudy, they’re loud, they’re metallic, they’re punk rock and I love them
guest
i like them! lol not that id wear them everywhere…maybe in black I would though. haha
