She’s a fantastic actress with more talent at 14 than most other Hollywood adults, so she can do whatever she wants, IMO. I absolutely loved her in True Grit. Friggin’ brilliant!

I so did this in September for a wedding. The bride was wearing them too. I loved the heels I was wearing but DAMN, they hurt. And I just don’t operate well in them for prolonged periods of time.
I think since she’s 14 she can get away with it but meh I don’t blame her, heels hurt after a while. I’m glad someone choose comfort though finally instead of just totally worrying about how they look. I mean it was the after party, right? She wore her heels for when she needed to.
I’d do that too. Age has no matter in it. I hate heels..no matter how cute they may be. They are killer on my feet.

Ah thats so cute. I would totally do the same thing. I would just make sure my dress covered the shoes if I was older. Only teens could pull off the look i think

She’s not some fashion icon or whatever, she’s just an actress who didn’t want to wear heels anymore, what’s wrong with that? She has no obligation to keep her heels on if she doesn’t want to. Good for her. Comfort trumps fashion for me as well.

i’ve worn vans slip ons with a gown.
