I plan on getting tattoos to represent my home state, Texas, and something to represent my cultural heritage as a Filipino. I don’t think they’ll be as big as the last one, but I think those are all awesome tats.

@o0oBrittanyo0o13@xanga - thats JUST what i was going to say. thanks for re-iterating the point(:
My boyfriend has a tattoo of Texas on his upper back. He always calls it his lone star state tattoo so I’m assuming it’s kind of common in Texas, as well. I think it’s alright. I don’t see a problem with it. I saw a tattoo of California (where I’m from) with a heart where the person lived and I really loved it, but I don’t know if I would get it haha.

Maybe it’s being from Pennsylvania…but I’m assuming the title of this post is sarcastic? Because “classy” and “New Jersey” don’t belong in the same sentence. Either way, these people look like morons.
a close friend of my brother got the outline of jersey with all of his close friends names written inside of it. it actually looks really cool. i think it’s a good idea except for the fact that they may or may not be your friend forever, but cool concept regardless.
as for the actual tattoo, i like them. i don’t think i would ever do one though..

I’m actually guilty of having a jersey tattoo. it takes up half of my back and has a heart where home is. I had a lot of issues of finding where I belonged and what home really was. It was until I came back from college in the summer (swearing I’d never come back to the state) realizing that no matter what I do or where I go, Jersey is my home.

As much as I love Jersey, nah. I wouldn’t get it. If I did, it would be a small one.
@SleepyLaura@xanga - @shinoseishi@xanga - @not3000@xanga - I want a tattoo of something representing Texas. It’s pretty common here. Maybe not a huge outline of the state though, maybe a star or a bluebonnet or something.
@noPrinceCharming@datingish - Haha. Yea. I didn’t realize that they were all tattoos of NJ until about the 4th picture down. So I was wondering why the top one had a tattoo of Abe Lincoln. Crazy people these days will get tattoos of anything. haha.
@noPrinceCharming@datingish - Yea. I have no problem with tattoos at all. I don’t think I would ever get one. I have a very low pain tolerance. But it’s always made more sense to get a tattoo that meant something to me. I mean if it’s going to be on my body for the rest of my life I would want it to mean something special to me.

@xhalesx@revelife - I hate pain, I don’t even have my ears pierced because I’m afraid of the pain. The tattoo that I have on my shoulder wasn’t really that bad..If you’ve ever been scratched by a cat & didn’t freak out, than you’d be fine with a tattoo, depending on where you got it. The small treble clef I have on my stomach was numb for the most part, than it startled ticking a lil bit lol. The only time it hurt was for the last tiny bit when the guy was finishing up.. It wasn’t that bad. =)

I’m from Seattle, so I would totally consider a tasteful space needle somewhere, but nothing huge or flashy like those. DEFINITELY not a tramp stamp. Yikes.
I know people who have incorporated Florida into tattoos, but why would anyone want just the state itself? It’s kind of an awkward shape, not that NJ isn’t as well. I love the Sunshine State, but not that much!
