“Would you get a Twilight back tattoo, Lovelies?”

No, I would never get inked in Twilight. However, I do not like Twilight. If I were crazy enough I’d get a pic of Eddie Vedder or maybe even Robert Smith tatted on my ass, but then again I’m not into photos that resemble people or words being etched into my skin. But I have been inspired by the two artists via their music. I do have two tatts one of a cross made of purple roses and another is just a few purple roses in bloom. What can I say? I like roses and I like purple.

I, however, would rather poke my own eyes out than spend £2000 and 22 hours on something like that. I guess if it means something to her though, and she’s happy with it, then why not let her enjoy herself? 
Also, good for her for losing all that weight, although I really think she should give HERSELF the credit, not just that which inspired her.

Wow.  That is a really detailed tattoo and it’s very nicely done.  I wouldn’t get a Twilight tattoo because I’m not a huge fan, but if it means that much to her, props to her and the tattoo artist for all the time and money spent on it.

Different things help people lose weight, stop smoking, stop biting their nails, get rid of stress… whatever. And if Twilight is what helped her then Cool!!! People should be allowed to express themselves however they want. No judgement. I wouldn’t personally get a huge tattoo. But I wont judge her because she did.

I can’t say that I’ve ever thought about getting any tattoos related to movies, tv, or actors/actresses. I haven’t thought much about tattoos at all. However, if she’s that dedicated to the movies because they helped her achieve a life goal, then I guess that’s fine for her. No one else has to live with it except her.

It’s her body so whatever haha. But it is not a thinspo tattoo. She’s not trying to say that starving yourself is good, she is trying to say that it helped her to stop over eating. Not over eating and starving yourself are totally different things. 

No, but this story, while I think twilight is an abomination to literature, this story is very nice. I’m glad that it helped her lose the weight. 

So I guess when she dies her body will rot alongside the faces of the cast members. OK, great!

She could have lost weight watching any other movie. As far as I know, there were no subliminal messages in the movies telling her to work out, so they didn’t really help much…. And even if there were, is an entire back tattoo really necessary? I think not. I wouldn’t do that for my favorite anything.

Finally something good came out of that series. This woman was inspired by it enough to lose a hundred pounds, so I’m really impressed by her.

Also, the tattoo itself is very well done. It’s like, photo quality beautiful, so good on her for that too!

I don’t like Twilight, due to being a grown-up with no desire to act like a teenager.

I have, however, considered getting a tattoo of a particular flower from one of my favorite books. If you’re really into something, and want a tattoo that represents that interest, go for it. But don’t be surprised when people who dislike your interest get a certain impression of you from it.

Also, I’d hardly call this “thinspo.” Thinspo is for people who want to reach an unhealthy weight, and/or have unhealthy self-images. This was healthy weight-loss inspiration — like people whose children or education or health is their inspiration for losing weight.

she’s probably gonna regret it in a couple of years.
1) because the tattoo is ugly as hell (just my opinion, but yea there are billions of drawings/pics that look better than that, and most of them dont include a movie’s cast);
2) because tattooing yourself with a pic of someone u dont know and have never met is incredibly risky. who knows what Twilight will represent in the future? maybe there’ll be a huge scandal tomorrow and we’ll find out the Twilight author or actors are really nazis. then she’ll be the idiot with a Twilight tattoo.

This article poses a silly question.  Of COURSE no one would get a Twilight tattoo on their back if they are not a fan of Twilight (or tattoos for that matter.)  What you can’t deny is 1) the artwork is BEAUTIFUL and 2) Losing that much weight is an incredible achievement that meant a great deal to her.  If Twilight is what helped her throughout her journey, I say good for her!  Get that ink!

I understand the question was asking if the reader, personally, would do it.  My answer is no, but that doesn’t mean I think any less of this woman for doing something I wouldn’t do.

First tattoo ever… What’s on her upper arm in the mirror reflection? It looks to out of place to be with the Twilight tattoo. The piece is well done, but that’s excessive, put a poster on the wall.

I don’t care how much you hate twilight you gotta admit that tat is amazing and the story that goes along with it. 

She found what works for her so I’m happy for her. 

No denying that the tattoo was skillfully done, and really a great work of art… but I’ll go with the opinion that it’s quite excessive, and still if i liked something that much I’d rather ask someone to sketch or paint a picture of it (or do it myself) to hang on the wall than get it inked into my skin. But that’s just me. 

The only thing more impressive than losing 100 lbs because of twilight is the thousands of husbands lost over twilight.
