I wear my hair in a low ponytail because it’s eaiser than having to brush your hair up, not because my intelligence is above average compared to others, although I do make above average grades in school.

I don’t wear my hair up a lot. Usually when I do it’s a low pony tail just to get my hair the hell out of the way. Besides, low hair styles can be beautiful. Don’t see what’s wrong with them.

Low pony tails drive me crazy. So if you consider a crazy person to be “above average” then this chart is right.
However, my marks remain in the high 90′s for the most part, and I wear my down all the time, so what does that say? Also, when I do wear a pony tail, I wear it in the middle of the the “below average” and “average” placement.

Finding out that I am just average has ruined my life. Thanks a freaking lot.

If this is the case, my ponytail ranges between average and above average due to the length of my hair.

When it’s short, it’s in the back, but up a little. And when it’s long, I usually have low ponytails. I like the low ponytails because it pushes your hair out of your face, keeps it from falling onto your shoulders which is annoying, and it doesn’t hurt as badly as the ones when they’re higher.

so throughout the day, i start off below average and gradually become above average…

hahaha… first thing I notice, below average height is where cheer-leading ponytails are located. Mine go at average/above average depending on my mood and if it’s for work or not.

I tend to wear my hair down but when I do pull it up it’s either “above average” or “below average”.

“Below average” when I need it to be out of my face because that’s the only way my bangs will also get held back in the ponytail.
“Above average” in dance class so that when we do warm-ups my ponytail isn’t pressing between my head and the floor.

I find it amusing that the “below average” placement is often used when I’m doing homework and the “above average” placement is used in dance.

Though I will agree on the “theoretical zero point”.

I don’t want to judge anyone that may read this, but, looking at the girls in my school and how they wear their pony tails then comparing that to their intelligence… This diagram seems to hit the nail right on the head. >.< All the really stupid/ditsy girls where their hair right on top of their damn heads and most of people in the honors courses with me wear a normal pony tail or one at the nape of their necks, lol. I never thought you compare the two before, though. XD 

I’m above average only because I can never get my part to smooth back. It’s always lumpy and stupid looking so I give up.

This is really weird, because a lot of people do multiple kinds of ponytail placements, so what… does their pick for the day indicate their intelligence for the day? And hair length plays into it for some people. i prefer low ponytails, but my hair is usually kept too short for them. So would preference be telling, or just how someone puts their hair up?

Usually my hair is pulled into the “above average” ponytail, but only because I find it easier to clasp all my hair at the base of my neck. I think it’s an elegant look. But other days, like today, I’m “average” and then other days, I’m just down right “retarded”, especially if there’s not anyone around or I’m babysitting.
