not sure if i like it its a bit plain

They need to change how their shit tastes much more than they need to change the logo.

I’ve never been to starbucks or had anything from there but i don’t like the new logo….I’d be more tempted to buy something from there with their old logo than this one.

Well…..people already know they’re drinking Starbucks Coffee, what’s the point of having the words?

Aww, I spent so many hours doodling that logo on napkins when I worked there.

Not a fan of the new one, at all. Looks like a step back, to me. 

I like the previous one more just because it doesn’t look as plain as the new one. I don’t know. The enlarged picture of the woman.. kinda freaks me out. Just saying. Mmm I’ll go there, regardless. Not like I’m keeping the cup.

Maybe they’re trying to save on ink.. by using one color process instead of two.

i like the previous one better also. this one is just too plain.

good design is simple design. this is an excellent choice at re-branding. like someone already said… you already know you’re drinking starbucks, no need for the word. it’s an international brand. this just simplifies their logo in such an overly saturated market with busy, chaotic, really bad design. the problem is teaching the public how to view good design. it is interesting to point out that it just seems like more zoomed in, but i think that’s the point: getting down to the simple point, which is the starbucks logo, a siren.

The oldest one has always been my favorite.

it’s interesting that they’re so well-known that they don’t even have to put the actual name “starbucks” on it. Consumers can recognize the brand by the image alone.

what they need to be worrying about is that damn price increase that just happened. im getting sick of getting yelled at through the dt window when someones damn drink costs 30 cents more now. dear god at least if u raise prices maybe pay us more… because 8.17 an hour is not cutting my life anymore…

They’re just trowing away their commercial. It was famous, even in countries where aren’t any starbucks-stores. When we are on a citytrip, finding the nearest starbucks is a fun tradition. This logo just sucks and when you’ll see it in the subway or on the street, nobody will recognize it.

i preferred the old version. they should bring the starbucks coffee band back
