It’s that time of year again! Forget about the Golden Globes and the Oscars, it’s all about the Golden Raspberry Award (the “Razzies”). Though the official nominations won’t be released until January 24th, the Los Angeles Times Award Tracker blog has released the names of twelve finalists shortlisted for the best…er, worst…Worst Picture award.
- The Bounty Hunter
- Clash of the Titans
- The Expendables
- Grown Ups
- Jonah Hex
- Killers
- The Last Airbender
- Little Fockers
- Sex and the City 2
- The Twilight Saga: Eclipse
- Vampires Suck
- Yogi Bear
Unfortunately, I have only seen one of the movies on this list (or should I be grateful?), so I can’t really judge with much enthusiasm. I do, however, enthusiastically support the newest Razzie category: Worst Eye-Gouging Misuse of 3-D. Hilarious and totally appropriate! I’m surprised there’s not much overlap between the two categories.
What do you think the worst movie of 2010 was? Are you surprised by any of these selections?

I LOVED the Grownups

The Bounty Hunter is definitely near the top, along with Skyline, Eat Pray Love, and :: shudder :: Little Fockers. One premise humped to death over the course of three movies, with the shtick getting old halfway through the FIRST film. No thanks.

I’m behind!
I haven’t seen any of those movies =/

i actually enjoyed Killers and Eclipse!

as much as i love sex & the city (the show & the first movie) the second one didn’t need to be made. & although i hate to say it, yes, it did suck.
grown ups sucked.
i liked the bounty hunter & i hope little fockers isn’t bad, i’m going to see it with my boyfriend this weekend !

The last airbender aughhhh
How you can ruin a movie so badly with such a great premise I’ll never know
guest
I didn’t think the Bounty Hunter was THAT bad. I mean, it was alright. Last Airbender, The Expendables and Grownups were definitely terrible though.
guest
i only seen 2 movies on that list..but they was good.
but let me tell you the worst movie ever is dragon wars… or zombie strippers…hahaha

I haven’t seen any of them.
But did anyone else notice that both Twilight and Vampires Suck (a movie mocking Twilight) both were nominated? That’s worth a chuckle.

The Bounty Hunter was a GREAT movie. So was Clash of the Titans I haven’t seen any of the others.

The Sorcerer’s Apprentice. C’mon, really?!

there is a reason I’ve only seen two of these. lol.
I dunno whichever one of these could win and I’d be ok.
guest
I haven’t seen “Little Fockers” yet.
“The Last Airbender” wasn’t particularly good…it definitely could have been a lot better, but I don’t think it was the worst movie of 2010.
@diannisforever@xanga - I kind of liked “Clash of the Titans” as well, it was decent. It shouldn’t be on the list.

I enjoyed Clash of the Titans just because it was hilariously terrible. So…I don’t think it should be on the list. Just from seeing previews though, I think Yogi Bear should win, despite the fact that I haven’t seen it—nor do I intend to. I would rather gouge out my eyes than do so actually.
guest
lol…I haven’t seen any of these movies. I’ll just say The Last Airbender because I heard it sucked bad. Rotten Tomatoes gave it 6%. haha
guest
I’ve only seen one, but I think Vampires Suck should get it (not the one I watched). Just the trailer made me want to maim myself. It tries so hard to be a bad movie; please give them the satisfaction they want.

Vampires Suck was pretty hilarious

Wasn’t Vampires Suck supposed to be bad?
guest
Eclipse should win. Anything Twilight is horrible.
I liked Grown-Ups. Was it cheesy? Yes. But it was also funny.
Vampires Suck is a SPOOF, it wasn’t supposed to be a “good” movie.
And The Last Airbender I think was only a disaster for those who were fans of the show. People who had never seen the show seemed to like the movie. They just slaughtered the story of the show.

Vampires Suck was so ridiculous that I liked it.

@Femme003@xanga - LOL that movie was so cheesy and predictable I sadly enjoyed it. I like bad movies. But it did do really bad in the box office, of course

Please let Eclipse win this one xD

The Last Airbender should win….they totally ruined it….I actually liked Vampires Suck….Eclipse i enjoyed also, only because the acting actually improved in this one
guest
vampires suck was the worst for me.
i understand its supposed to be a bad movie you’re supposed to laugh at how ridiculously horrible it is.
but it wasn’t even THAT type of funny.
and Im a big fan of the Scary Movie series.
So I was hoping Vampires suck would’ve been good.

I love Gerard Butler with a passion- who doesn’t? But The Bounty Hunter suuuuckked big ones. I mean, I liked Jerald’s character. It was everything else that sucked. It was a really terrible plot.
& Killers was a very fast-paced movie. The idea of it was really great, but it was just confusing. There were hilarious parts. I love Katherine Heigl AND Ashton Kutcher. That was the movie’s fault, not their’s.
guest
I would assume The Last Airbender. People complained/ranted/hated it + it got horrible reviews.
I heard a lot of people liked Grown Up *shrugs*
guest
I honestly haven’t seen any of these. But from everything I’ve read and heard, I didn’t miss much.
guest
Vampires Suck does seem like a movie that sucks. I can’t say much about it since I haven’t watched it. I have watched Killers, it wasn’t that bad.
guest
I saw Sex and the City to and it really was horrible! My friend and I sat through the whole thing, then looked at each other and said “What the fuck was that movie even about?”. Really, the clothes were awesome to look at, there were sweet parts, but honestly the plot was all over the place, and it didn’t even start until… I don’t even know if it started.
And I don’t even have to see the Twilight movies to know they sucked. There is no way the movie is any better than the book.
guest
Skyline, Eat Pray Love, Kick Ass, Knight n Day, The Tourist, and The Town were all either boring, tacky, or just plain obnoxious and should all be on this list! Oh and lets not forget Saw VII, what a piece of garbage that was.
guest
I hope Eclipse, or Last Airbender (only because it’s nothing like the series). But I really think Twilight because it sucks. I thought Bounty Hunter was cute.
guest
i liked expendables xD
