Over the last few years, it seems as if every celebrity has come out with their own fashion line.  While some have been huge flops, others have been fairly successful–but which celebrity’s fashion line is tops? 

That title belongs to Jessica Simpson, according to fashion newspaper Women’s Wear Daily, who recently reported that the “Jessica Simpson Collection” (which made $750 million this year and is set to make over $1 billion in 2011) has become one of the most successful celebrity fashion lines of all time. 

One of the reasons Jessica Simpson’s clothing line is so successful is because she seems accessible. She’s not an 8-foot-tall, rail-thin model; at only 5’3″ and curvy, she looks more like the kind of person the average woman can relate to. Her fashion line reflects this, and is designed with every woman in mind. She even made headlines earlier this year at New York Fashion Week, when she used her friends and family–women of all different shapes and sizes–to model her line instead of fashion models. Also, the prices are fairly affordable, which only adds to the brand’s widespread appeal.

Of course, another reason Jessica Simpson is so successful in fashion is because her clothes and accessories are fabulous. I’ve lusted after more than a few pairs of her high heels, and I like pretty much all of the clothes I’ve seen in stores and on the website. 

After suffering so many setbacks in her acting and music careers, I’m happy to hear that Jessica’s finally found such overwhelming success in the fashion world!
