Here at Lovelyish, we’re always looking for ways to embrace the Xanga community and really get everybody involved. Since we love reading all the comments just as much as you do, we thought it would be a fun idea to take a little sneak peak into the lives of some of our favorite readers!
Lovelyish: What’s your real name, age (only if you feel up for sharing), and where are you from?
Dianne, late 20s from Vancouver, Canada
L: What do you do when you are not cruising through Lovelyish, reading posts and offering up advice?
I work on financial statements, annual operating budgets, resolve disprecancies and irregularities — in other words I’m an accountant doing accounting things.
L: What made you want to create a Lovelyish/Xanga account?
Convenience. It’s easier to post to an online diary than it is to write in a notebook. Plus I get to meet people who like the same things I do!
L: If you could change one thing about Lovelyish what would it be? And why?
I really only wish for the site to load faster. It is the one and only thing I find unsatisfactory about it.
L: How would you describe your personal style?
Feminine. I love dresses, ruffles and lace.
L: If you could only take 3 items to a deserted island, what would they be?
A pan, blanket and a box of matches or lighter. I’m taking the survival thing seriously :p
L: What was/is your favorite subject in school?
Geography. I found Earth Science so interesting and still do to this day!
L: What was your biggest fashion faux pas?
Jean on jean! Back in high school I wore a jean jacket with my jean pants *cringe*
L: Where wold you be your dream place to travel?
Breathtaking French Polynesia.
L: Do you collect anything? If so, can you tell us?
Would photography be considered collecting? I love it! I take so many photos that I have about 7,000 saved on my computer. Plus hundreds more saved on disks from my older computers.
L: What/Who is your guilty pop culture pleasure?
I have recently started to listen again to Boyzone’s song from the 90s. Boyzone is an Irish boy band that I loved when I was 15 years old :p
Thanks Dianne for indulging our curious minds! Happy Monday Lovelies!
