Kate has wonderful style (her hats are epic!) & I’m glad they took their time! I’m happy for him but I admit I will cry a bit during the wedding. Now I cant wait to see her dress!!!!!!!!!

Oh yeah, congrats. Now they can use British people’s money to pay for a ridiculously massive wedding that no one gives a shit about.

And we care…why?
@anotherdreamwasted_onyou@xanga - Hahahah! I was thinking the exact same thing!

Oh I like her coat. Congrats on their engagement. I hope she’s as lovely a person as Princess Diana was.

@anotherdreamwasted_onyou@xanga - haha, my one British friend said that the UK is thinking of cutting them off
guest
@Digital_Angel21@xanga - Which would mean that this event doesn’t matter at all because she is likely not to be the Queen one day. If I had it my way we wouldn’t have a Royal family. I don’t think I know one person in favour of the Royal family actually..
guest
@anotherdreamwasted_onyou@xanga - Well, the same friend went onto say he was against it because he feels it’s part of the identity of Britain. I’m American, so my opinion is kind of…invalid, but I just think maybe it’s just a case of the government cutting the amount of money given to them and NOT funding lavish, expensive weddings.

@Digital_Angel21@xanga - Yes, I suppose they are part of the identity of Britain but they stand for everything I don’t believe in. I think it’s time the identity of Britain caught up with the 21st Century. I suppose everyone has their own point of view on the matter and I can’t see us getting rid of them any time soon.
