Gucci has just come out with their version of 3D glasses (perfect for Jackass 3D?), and they cost $225! This is like for professional 3D movie watchers.
I mean, I get that 3D movies are the trend right now, but can’t you just hold on to the pair you got at the last 3D movie you went to?
I’m on the side of hoping I never have to watch another 3D movie again. I am definitely not rooting for the future of buying $225 dollar glasses just to go to the movies.
I’ll admit that they look cool though.
What do you think of these glasses, Lovelies?

Oakley is making 3D glasses now. They’re supposed to be “optically correct,” meaning that the lens shape and thickness is going to be designed in such a way as to minimize the light distortion and headaches that a lot of people experience.
The Gucci ones look nice, but I’d rather pay $150 for something that’s better for my eyes and that I can switch the lenses out of easily.

@xxFADEt0BLACKxx@xanga - ohh yeah, that is a much more interesting concept than just plain ol luxury 3D glasses.

@xxFADEt0BLACKxx@xanga - Actually Oakley already has a pair of plain black 3D glasses out and I recently purchased them for myself because we like watching futebol matches on the 3D TV. They’re pretty decent.
However, my wife has the Gucci ones and she says that they are pretty decent as well. I mean you don’t get a headache or anything wearing them.
I think it’s all a matter of preference, they’re probably the same thing but my wife is a girly girl and I’m not a fan of Gucci lol
*EDIT* – Huh, I guess they aren’t out to the general public in the US.

@Aaliyaan@xanga - Yeah I work for Oakley and the 3D concept hadn’t been officially announced until about a month ago. We’re making 3D eyewear in a special edition Gascan frame and Pitboss frame for the release of Tron in December. Are you military/government affiliated? That might be the reason why you were able to get your hands on them.
Look for the drop of 3D Oakley eyewear in mid-November/early December. They look pretty badass from what I’ve seen!

My life isn’t already 3D enough? lolz I guess your wallet has to look 3D also to afford them. They don’t look any different than any other sun glasses. I’ll pass.

@xxFADEt0BLACKxx@xanga - No military affiliation, just an international businessman but I tend to get my hands on things before they are out internationally lol.
