I love this pair from Nordstrom but I’m scared they will cut my legs in half!
I really want a pair of boots. I’m thinking either brown or black. At first I thought I wanted a pair with a heel, then I realized a flat pair would be more functional.
I love the look of the higher style that hit at about the knee, only problem is that my legs are very short. I don’t want to risk looking even shorter by wearing boots that are almost as big as me. I’m looking to spend about $50 to $100 on a pair.
Any recommendations, Lovelies?

No knee high boots and a heel would help:

Yeah, I’m short so I’ve looked into this a lot…

That boot seems like they’re for tall people.

It helps to try the boots on. I am short, but I ended up trying on some knee high boots that were fitted through the calves and they actually made my legs look really long and nice, drawing attention to that lean part of my leg. However, the lighter colored version of the blackish-brown boots I tried on made my legs look shorter. I think if you have boots that are dark and dark jeans or leggings, you shouldn’t have too much of a problem.

u dont want over the knee boots that make ur legs looks longer, and u dont want one with a heel either… usually boots that come mid calf make ur legs look extra stubby

Half boots with stockings can do wonders for length if they’re the same colour. Also, if you wear taller boots, you might try skinny jeans with them- a straight look should make you look taller as well.
Dark colours are your friends.

you might have to wear them with really skinny jeans, dark ones or leggings, so you have a long line.

Definitely try them on. I had a friend who thought the same thing, but then she realized that her legs weren’t as short as she thought. She looked great in a really similar pair of boots!
