Woohoo, as seen in Ralph Lauren’s 2011 Spring RTW collection, there were a lot of fringes going on, especially on his bags! But there were also a few pieces, such as a pair of pants and some tops that were fringed up!

Let’s face it, when it comes to fringe, it can be tastefully done or not (sorry Drew, but that fringe vest got to go!). But there are a few safe pieces that you can sport around without being called a “cowgirl.”

1. Hippie Fringe Scarf, Forever 21 $8.80
Don’t be fooled by the name. You don’t need to be a hippie to wear this scarf. The colours are gorgeous for the autumn and the fringes add a nice touch!

2. Never Belt This Way, Mod Cloth $14.99
I always love Mod Cloth! They never cease to amaze me on the items they have there. This belt is a great example of showing off some fringe without too much. Belt your simple designed dress with this and you’re good to go!

3. Chain Fringe Tank,  Forever 21 $15.80
Not a fan of fringed fabric? Why not try a chain fringe on your top? Adds an edgy touch to the simple colour. But be careful of putting this in the wash, make sure you hand wash it so that the chains don’t rust!

4. Fringe Benefits Chained Necklace, Avon $19.99
You probably saw this coming from that chained top. If you don’t want to wear fringed chains on any top, this is a great one by Avon. Let’s not forget about Avon, ladies! Avon sells quality skincare products and their clothing and jewelry are amazing too! Look what a few pieces of gold and silver chains can do!

5. Fringed Open-Toe Wedge Sandals, Newport News $20.00
This is a super good deal! This shoe was originally $44.00 and it’s slashed down more than 50% off. It has some suede fringes on the front. The sandal is wearable still for winter, just wear some socks (it is currently the trend!).

Let’s not be scared of the fringe! It can be done!

Are you Lovelies fringing it?
