MTV’s VMAs got a lot of coverage, and a lot of that coverage revolved around Lady Gaga’s outfits that night. Aside from the fashion though, a lot of excitement rose as Lady Gaga also announced her third album’s title, “Born This Way.”

Sounds a bit different from her previous album titles, “The Fame” and “The Fame Monster.” Since she is a pretty intellectual person, I’m sure she could have thought up something more alluring than “Born This Way.”

Using some of the things that come out of Lady Gaga’s mouth, let’s see a few alternative titles that Lady Gaga could have used for her upcoming album.

1. “Not a Piece of Meat” (first photo above)
The reason behind the “meat dress” during the VMAs and the Men’s Vogue Japan photoshoot was to make a clear statement that she was not a piece of meat.

She was quoted saying, “I’m not a piece of meat… If we don’t stand up for what we believe in, if we don’t fight for our rights, pretty soon we’re going to have as much rights as the meat on our bones.”

I agree that we should stand up for what we believe in, but does putting meat all over your body really show others that you’re not a piece of meat? What do you guys think?

2. “Pop Stars Should Not Eat.” (Source)
Hmm, I wonder what they shouldn’t eat? But following that quote that she’s “not a piece of meat,” I’m assuming that pop stars shouldn’t eat any meat. The album cover can feature Lady Gaga covered up in the things that pop stars shouldn’t eat! Let’s see, how about some Wonder bread on her thighs because everybody knows that when you eat ‘em, those carbs go straight to the thighs.

3. “B*tch, I’m Lady Gaga!”
You may be wondering, “Oh gosh, how self absorbed!” But, actually it isn’t so. During her interview with Rolling Stone, she told the magazine that she tells herself everyday that “b*tch, you’re Lady Gaga, you get up and walk the walk today” to shake off that insecurity she gets from time to time. Yes, she is just one of us.

4. “The Bible
Yes, the Bible. When asked by the magazine, Marie Claire, on what she was reading, she claimed that she reads the Bible. The album could continue to follow Lady Gaga’s music video, Alejandro. No need for wardrobe change there.

5. “Bubble Dreams Forever!
And unicorns and fairies…and such! If you didn’t know that Lady Gaga is a LGBT advocate, then you must have been living in a bubble. She was estactic about the overturning of Proposition 8 ruling and shared her excitement with her fans through her Twitter:

At the moments notice of PROP 8 DEATH I instantly began to write music. BUBBLE DREAMS FOREVER! FULL EQUALITY! THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING! REJOICE and CELEBRATE gay communities and straight all over the world. Our voices are being heard! Loud! SCREAM LOUD AMERICANOS!”

If the “death of Prop 8″ was her inspiration to instantly write music, then she should definitely use this title to thank her muses.

6. “No Pants On
Ever wonder who was the real inspiration for Lady Gaga’s pantless outfits? If you thought it was Madonna, guess again. It was actually her…grandma! Lady Gaga explains to the media why she is seen wearing no pants because it’s solely for her grandma:

My grandmother is basically blind, but she can make out the lighter parts, like my skin and hair. She says, ‘I can see you, because you have no pants on.’ So I’ll continue to wear no pants so that my grandma can see me.

So there is a reason behind those pantless/skimpy outfits.

These titles can actually help us learn more about the pop singer and make us realize that she is, too, just like one of us.
What would you add to the list, Lovelies? Do you think she could have used one of these titles?
