Last night Lindsay Lohan was released from her court-ordered rehab at UCLA Medical Center on Tuesday evening after only 22 days. Lohan entered the facility on August 2ND to serve her 90-day sentence. Obviously something has changed, AGAIN.
I apologize to all the Lindsay fans in advance for what I’m going to say next, but this is ridiculous! FIRST she was supposed to spend 90 days in prison and only spent 14 due to “good behavior” and “overcrowding” in the jail. *rolls eyes* like I believe that.
So what happens next she goes to rehab for the second part of her sentencing which was again, 90 days and guess what? She’s out!! According to sources close to the case, doctors overseeing the actress saw no cause to keep her in rehab for the entirety of the 90 days she was sentenced
I don’t know how she does it, but this is not going to be good for Lindsay. I personally think that she really needed this slap back into reality with the prison and rehab sentencing. Now she’s escaped both. I just hope she doesn’t fall back onto the same path because the next time it may detrimental to her health, or even worse overdose.
This girl needs prayer.
How do you Lovelies feel about Lindsay?

yes. LOTS of prayer.

you know, i think it’s likely the problem isn’t actually drinking and alc use. the problem is she thinks she can buy her way out of anything and didn’t have a grounded upbringing.
rehab can’t change that. who knows what will.

@TheCatInTheCradle@xanga - good point, but the even sadder part is… it isn’t just that she THINKS she can buy her way out of everything, it’s that she basically CAN.

@TheCatInTheCradle@xanga - Agreed. I think the underlying issue is a sense of entitlement.

yeah stupid n yet if it was a ordaniary person they serve the whole sentence oh well thats life for ya …x

She needs some serious psychological help. Jail and rehab will not help her.

@TheCatInTheCradle@xanga - I absolutely agree with that.
Therefore, she’s lost. Upbringing is key in the development of character. This messed up viewing of life she has is unrealistic and I wouldn’t be surprised if she OD’d tonight and we’d catch a glimpse of her stone cold on the news in the morning.

I think she is just a junky that has money and celebrity and therefore feels a bigger sense of entitlement that other junkies. Even if she would have served her entire sentence in jail or rehab, it would not have made a difference in her life if she couldn’t see that she has a problem. As long as she is blaming her family, the media, etc for the way she chooses to deal with her problems, she will continue to have problems.

I think she needed the total 90. I hope she stays clean but I doubt it. She needed all the rehab

I actually remember reading somewhere that she wanted to die as young as Marilyn Monroe because that was her idol and she wanted to be the modern version of her. Buuut…even though Marilyn was considered a strong sex symbol, she still had shitloads more class than Lindsay ever will.

I don’t like calling people ‘celebrities’, but she no longer is one. She’s just a person who has no direction in life.

if she goes broke someday, maybe she’ll wake up

overcrowding actually is a problem in prisons, it’s moreso fault of the state and federal government, but it really is a problem that not much is being done to fix. good behavior though? give me a break.
why would she be released from rehab just because a doctor observed no cause to keep her there? first of all, she was obviously sentenced to 90 days in jail for a solid reason backed with proof, it wasn’t just some allegation. also, lohan has been entirely public about her partying and adderall addiction. her parents have spoken publicly about her adderall addiction, producers have made public statements about lohan’s uncontrollable partying so far as to kick her out of a movie, and she has been seen drinking excessively in public multiple times. yet a doctor’s observation over the course of a few days overrides the past few years? you have to be kidding me. she would probably do and say whatever she needs to in order to get out of rehab. she won’t learn this way.

I don’t like how celebrities get out of jail early for “overcrowding”. I don’t see that happening to normal people, and she, like other celebrities, was held in her own cell or area, I believe. So why would overcrowding effect her?
If she doesn’t get the help she needs, she’s not going to get better.
I don’t know what doctor she saw, but she needs help that the people around her aren’t providing.

I love how everyone makes a big deal out of Lindsey in this sense that she’s the first celebrity to get out of jail or rehab early. I am a fan of her, or the former her should I say, but I still believe she should have served her full sentence one hundred percent. But, she isn’t the first celebrity to get out of jail/rehab early, so I don’t know I think it’s funny how big of a deal everything is making this.

She’ll be okay. I think I need more prayers than her.
