The movies also feature skinny women with large breasts. I don’t think it’s so much a gamer thing as it is a human thing.

A lot of people, asked what the perfect female form would look like, would give the girl huge breasts and a tiny waist.  That’s just the way it is.  The fact that you and others have a huge rack has nothing to do with it at all- lots of people have tiny racks, why are they not featured?  Because people like big boobs.

The same reason that most movie stars/celebs on the “hot lists” always have AT LEAST a C cup.. they are merely reflecting current preferences in our world. One day smaller breasts will be trendier again. Also most games are made/produced in Japan. Japan… has quite a vain culture.

And plus, most gamers don’t get laid, so yeah, that helps. Although I think the only thing more pathetic than jerking one off to a video game character is bestiality or pedophilia…

I take issue with the title of this post. It’s not “always”–if you played a variety of video games, there are plenty of characters (although some aren’t major) that don’t have huge breasts.

But yes, there are a significant number that do, and of course it’s to get males to buy the game. Shoot, I like Dynasty Warriors for the hot guys…okay not really, it’s actually just a lot of fun but the hot guys are a bonus.

I will tell you now, the male characters can be pretty hot, too.  And especially in the Japanese RPGs, they can have some fairly large bulges.  You have to admit, it is the RPGs mostly, which only make more sense because in an RPG you are playing as a certain character interacting with hot babes or whatever.  It makes the game more appealing when you get to actually play such a fantasy.

because the bouncy huge boobs showcase the 3D effect at its finest and caters to the majority male audience to motivate them to buy the game and play. in reality, the chance of seeing a female with huge boobs jumping and running around like lara croft isn’t common, so this fantasy comes to life in the game. they could go to the strip club but that is too costly.

It doesn’t really bother me because there are some sexy male characters in rpgs, games and anime lolz *_*

the main demographic for video games is YOUNG MALES. what do most young males like? FEMALES. why? BOOBS AND BOOTIES.
the equation is pretty simple!
sex sells!

Because you don’t expect a female to play Final Fantasy, Bloodrayne, or Tomb Raider as much as you’d expect a male.

Because the world is going to hell without the soothing view of Lara Croft’s… personalities.
