i think they’re stupid. they’re only using half naked or all the way naked people to get attention. like anyone really cares what peta is about because pamela posed in a bikini. they’re lame and need to figure something else out.
PETA has gotten so much attention over their ads, but that’s the only way they can get people’s attention. People only care about what tastes good and don’t realize that PETA has, and is doing amazing things in terms of animal rights and stopping cruelty. They get a bad rap for their ads because they put people on the defensive. They are extreme, everyone knows that– But would you pay attention to them and their cause/message otherwise? Doubtful.

eh they’re doing the same naked woman stuff all the time. mix it up!
i feel like pamela anderson has practically transformed her body into plastic so i don’t think she qualifies as a member of the animal kingdom anymore. this ad might have been better if they used another person, and even without hte nudity this ad could have been effective. they’re just trying too hard to be edgy when it can come a little easier. i feel like meat eating frat boys would put this up in their bedrooms and jack off to it. just sayin.

The reason the people are usually naked is because the slogan is I’d rather be naked then wear fur. PETA is annoying either they’re doing a good thing by trying saving these animals.
I am slightly predisposed to dislike PETA since I come from a farming family. However, we are not one of those shitty large-scale operations that treat our animals like crap and then sell them to McDonald’s or somethig like that. I’m ALL for ethical treatment of animals but I think PETA just takes it too far a lot of the time. This particular ad seems to me like another excuse to push tan, blonde, and big boobs in everybody’s face to get a point across, which is mighty old in my humble opinion.
@rebekah1191@xanga - no, we don’t NEED meat. There are plenty of people who don’t eat meat, and they’re perfectly healthy.

Ew, what a horrible ad. I’m with many of the other people on here. Does she even count as human anymore? If PETA would just take a step back, stop using naked people and scare tactics and just used the cold hard truth, maybe people would like them more.
@rebekah1191@xanga - I respect your decision to eat meat, but don’t be a dumbass. People don’t NEED meat to survive. You WANT it, but you don’t NEED it. Second, animals quite obviously have feelings/emotions. Souls can’t be proven, that’s merely an opinion, so I’m not correcting you on that one, but they very obviously have feelings.
I hate PETA. And I love meat. If Pamela Anderson was the only food in the world available for me to eat, I’d probably eat her too. Minus the breasts, implants can’t possibly be healthy.

@rebekah1191@xanga - animals have no feelings and have no soul??? what the hell are you saying??? you know thats complete bull, right? =____________= wow.
Anywho, I actually like the concept of the ad, although I really find her to look awkward and uncomfortable. I also really dislike the fact that she looks like she’s glowing and that the contrast on her body and hair is way too high. (Sorry, can’t help myself.)
I do eat meat on occasion and it’s not like I hate or love PETA, but all of the ads that I have seen recently have women who are half naked. That’s what draws others in, not the ad itself. Not even done in a classy way. Bleck.
Fuck PETA. I’ve voiced my opinion on their ad campaign on Lovelyish years ago, and since then PETA’s still doing the same shit. I have nothing more to say.

@needmoreink@xanga - come on start it animals don’t have souls it is in the bible look it up
@rebekah1191@xanga - Using the Bible as your point of authority will not work because that would require me to believe that the Bible contains only absolute truth. Here is something else the Bible says:
“Women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the Law says. If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church.” (1 Corinthians 14:34-35)
So…do you speak aloud in church or do you wait until you get home to ask your husband since you are a mere female? I realize that doesn’t have to do with the current argument but if you’re going to pick and choose what of the bible is true/valid or not, then anybody else can do the same.

@rebekah1191@xanga - So….. you are totally okay with the fact that you are considered less intelligent simply because you don’t have a penis? If you’re okay with that, then it’s no surprise you could believe something as stupid as animals not feeling fear or pain. @TheStormintheCalm@xanga - People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals is the largest animal rights organization in the world. They do almost anything legal to advance their campaigns, no matter how bad they look(which is impressive). They have done so many outrageous, insulting things which no one can deny–However, no organization can strike fear in the factory farming industry and its allies more than PETA. They are also undeniably effective. They have made many organizations and companies of all kinds quietly make changes in their animal welfare policies to avoid being publicly targeted by the group because of their tactics. The changes PETA has won for farmed animals, which is their biggest concern, are numerous, and have not only been victories for animal rights but even more for animal welfare: they have pressured companies to ultimately put fewer animals per cage, better regulate slaughter and forced less cramped transport, etc. They have exposed horrendous animal testing and cruelty in countless Universities, Colleges, Companies, Organizations, and the Factory Farming Industry to ultimately force them to stop altogether, or change policies. For me to go in depth and list exact examples of what they have done to make amazing changes would be so lengthy I cant even begin to describe. They have improved the lives and prevented the deaths of countless animals. I found this article for you listing just a few of the things PETA has done to change both the factory farming, fast food, fashion, cosmetic, etc industries: http://www.americanchronicle.com/articles/view/12860
Their techniques can be tasteless but the over the top approach has won improvements and changes in the industry. The controversy around PETA has less to do with the actual organization for those who stand in judgement of it. PETA stand up for the values we have been too forgetful to defend ourselves.

Eh, I’m not going to argue with anyone, but I’m a vegetarian. I do agree with Rebekah that they don’t have souls, but I still refuse to eat them. I think meat tastes awful and (I don’t care if anyone disagrees, calls me stupid etc) I always fall for the articles and stuff that say red meat is unhealthy and stuff. I think I’d rather risk my vegetables being “genetically modified” than uh eat a chicken on fucking steroids and pumped full of hormones. That probably only makes sense in my head. PETA doesn’t tickle my fancy nor rub me the wrong way, to be honest. Their ads are interesting the first couple times, but you’re right – there’s no variety.
@rebekah1191@xanga - Really, you’re going to endorse animal cruelty because “they don’t have souls”? Whether or not they have souls isn’t the issue, it’s the fact that pain is being inflicted on another living organism.
Also, if you’re going to use the Bible to back up a rather unethical view, then here’s some Bible scripture right back at you. Proverbs 12:10 “A good man takes care of his animals, but wicked men are cruel to theirs.” One could also argue that all animals belong to God (Psalms 50:10 “Every animal in the forest belongs to me. And so do the cattle on a thousand hills“) and therefore humans are answerable to God for protecting them. Especially since many people interpret God’s command in Genesis 1:28 as asking humans to shepherd animals and care for them.

@rebekah1191@xanga - i dont know if i am bias because i dont eat meat but no screw that. No matter what i believe in animals can feel, why do you think they do testin on them? They have similar reactions to us, an they do to have souls. How would you feel eatting your dog or cat, exactly. You dont need meat to survive, there are alt. in this world now to make up for it.
Now on to the blog lol; oh PETA, when I first got into the animal rights and stuff, I first liked them and I really dont hate them now but their problem is they are ran by a hippy(no offense to hippies) basically who lives for the thrill of making scenes. I see their motive though, no one listens to casual and calm motives. Take your singers or actors right before they start working on a project they do a crazy stunt for you to follow their moves an you do. I live in one of those farming areas PETA claims to help. They’ve never really did anything other than yell. They don’t strike fear in our hearts, just contempt and disgust. So far they’ve helped by kid(dog?)napping my cousin’s dog, fussing us for using barb wire fence, electric fences, and bridles with bits.
The only “active” thing they’ve done that’s affected our area is try to ban a catch and release fishing tournament, because catch and release fishing supposedly causes psychological damage to the fish.
Note PETA doesn’t bother to site any real, non-biased references either.

Although I approve of PETA when it comes to their stance on animal cruelty, I simply can’t stop eating meat. It is good for you, and tastes yummy. But I give credit to those who can go entirely without meat. However, a lot of the PETA people I’ve come across are excessively preachy.

@needmoreink@xanga - Sorry, I’m a little late on this but I just want to clarify something. One must acknowledge that Paul only wrote this at the time when many women converted from Judaism to Christianity. Back then, the church turned somewhat chaotic because they were shouting out etc. whenever the priest tried to preach due to their lack of understanding (women unfortunately, weren’t very educated back then). Therefore, to put an end this, Paul had to write this. Of course, this no longer applies as we women nowadays, are much more educated
Despite the chauvinistic tone, when we take the historical context into account, the Bible really isn’t promoting a patriarchal system.
I know this isn’t related to what you guys were talking about but I just thought I’d clarify

@rebekah1191@xanga – According to the Bible, animals have souls. Texts such as Genesis 1:21,24 are often mistranslated to read “living creatures.” The exact Hebrew used in reference to animals throughout the Bible is “nephesh chayah,” or “living soul.” This is how the phrase has been translated in Genesis 2:7 and in four hundred other places in the Old Testament. Thus, Genesis 1:30 should more accurately read: “And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to everything that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is a living soul, I have given every green herb for meat.”

they should erase those words and put more accurate things like, syphillis, ghonnorea, herpes, etc…
PETA bugs me because I think they should mind their own business a little more. Or focus on abused animals more than vegetarianism.
I enjoy meat. I like animals but I don’t feel bad enough for them to stop eating meat. All animals have the same parts, sure. And all those parts go to feed something or another. I mean to say, it’s not as though humans are the only creatures eating other creatures; lions do it. Snakes do it. Bugs do it! Everyone is eating each other.
I don’t think people should keep animals in terrible conditions or beat them or anything. But if they’re going to be killed for a reason I’m fine with it. That reason is so we can eat them, and use the rest of their parts for various things. Animals exist for a reason, and I think certain creatures like cows are here to be eaten.

@rebekah1191@xanga - That is the most ignorant thing I’ve ever heard or read in my entire life. You don’t NEED meat, in fact our bodies weren’t even designed for meat. Meat is just protein, which can be found in a variety of vegetables, and there’s also soy meat (which tastes more of less like the real thing, not to mention healthier), and also many, many vitamins. A lot of meat is even BAD for you (such as red meat like steak). And they do have souls, and they do have feelings. If you’ve ever had dogs, I’m sure you see how they mourn if one of them gets hurt or dies. I guess overall I’m just sad that you think that, because it’s entirely wrong and you’ll never be able to fully love any animal (whether it’s a cat, dog, cow, snake, chicken, whatever).
This is probably an arguement not worth starting, but I’m way too passionate about animals and their rights to not say something.

I can understand unfortunately killing animals for food, it’s a part of the food chain which exists everywhere. But what I really hate is when someone is mistreating or killing an animal for no particular purpose. I think that this particular ad is quite blunt and creative. Yes, the usage of a partially naked female is a little over the top, but it can also be viewed as an art form. It is bluntly explaining in a literal visual sense that in fact animals may not look like us, communicate like us, or even behave like us, but they do have the same parts we have, and that they are like us in a lot of ways.
We are a ruthless society…..

@rebekah1191@xanga - It actually pained me to read what you were writing. Seriously. Before you post anything, you should get your facts straight. The food pyramid doesn’t have MEAT as an exact food group. It is technically the meat and beans group and you certainly don’t need the meat to fulfill your daily servings of protein. You can get that from several other foods other than meat (such as beans, eggs, and nuts). And, I refuse to believe that animals have no souls. Even if, hypothetically, they didn’t have souls, you’re ok with the cruelty animals experience for YOUR chicken nuggets or whatever the heck else you’re eating? I’m not a vegetarian, though I used to be, and I eat meayn, but I love animals with a passion. And as someone else stated, if you knew anything about animals, you would know the complexity of their emotions. Elephants mourn the death of a family member for the rest of their lives. I witnessed my own dog become seriously depressed when my other dog died and he was left alone. They obviously have feelings. Dogs get excited when you come home to them. You can tell. So don’t even try to tell me that animals have no feelings. If you honestly believe that, you have no comprehension or understanding of emotion or feelings.

After coming back and reading these comments for this particular post I am horrified.
I’m not a raging PETA fan, nor do I dislike them. I have an understanding that the food chain exists. It’s not the fact that we kill animals for food but the way we treat them in the process of doing so that bothers me. There is no reason to abuse, mistreat, and harm animals. Like all living creatures they should be respected.
How is one to know if heaven and hell really exist? Has anyone personally been there and to truthfully verify its existence? How does one know if this isn’t hell that we are already in? The bible is quite questionable, it is comprised of fable like examples that are supposed to teach us morals and lessons, it isn’t a personal instruction guide to live every moment by, it’s metaphorical. “Souls” do not really exist. Physically and otherwise we are made up of countless molecules and atoms which create us. That which one is considered a “soul” is because of evolution and thought process. If it has a brain, it has a thought process. Animals may not have the same vocal cord structure as we do but they try to communicate with us either way. Would you think of a foreign person as “soulless” because they don’t look, act, and speak like you? We don’t need meat, it’s actually bad for us. It can cause many different things like colon cancer and heart disease. Did you know that to sanitize chicken, it is soaked multiple times in amonnia? Or that to make the meat more tender on baby calves, they break their legs? It can take weeks and months, sometimes even years, to process meat through our system just because our bodies were not made for it. Before becoming a vegetarian I would get stabbing pains in my upper stomach every single day. Not to long after I stopped eating meat I stopped getting the pains and haven’t had them since.
@Nina1981@xanga - Yeah. Doesn’t make sense, right? I was trying to figure out exactly what was bothering me about this ad and then I read your comment and thought, “THAT’S the issue there.”
Also, while I AM against animal cruelty and all that, there is free ranged, animal cruelty-free meat out there. And you can “have a heart,” and still eat meat. I get that as humans, we’re at the top of the food chain, so we have more control over what we eat, but we’re still part of a food chain that involves animals eating grass, animals eating animals, and humans eating animals. Being vegetarian is great and all, and if you do it for what you believe in, AWESOME. But making it seem as though people who eat meat are horrible people is just going to get more people AGAINST Peta in general, instead of people trying to fight against the real issue in the meat industry. Which is the way in which the animals are treated.

@xFatal_catastrophe@xanga - I wish I could start a slow clap for you. One thing that people forget, especially about the Bible, is that it wasn’t written in English originally. So things were lost in translation. I remember reading on a girl’s page who was Jewish and read the Holy Bible for the first time. She said that a lot of the Old Testament is off, and not just by a little, but a LOT, in some of the things it’s saying when she compares it to the original Hebrew. I wish more people who know of the original Hebrew, and knows what the Old Testament SHOULD be saying, would speak out more when people try to quote the Bible to back up asinine things like that girl. Again, slow clap rising in a crescendo. Haha.

I may add and message you this, but you stated that you were a vegetarian. How did you go about doing it? I love meat A LOT, but for health reasons (as well as the animal cruelty issue), I want to start to ween myself off of meat. But I find it so hard. Basically, how did you start? Did you just give up meat entirely one day, or was a slow and gradual process?

@Momo_Wakahisa@xanga - It was my boyfriend’s idea first. I ate and cooked nothing but meat all the time and was highly offended when he told me he was going vegan. I got over being a putz and decided to try it out, it was healthier for me anyways. So we were vegan for a few months, that changed to vegetarian, and now we are somewhat pescatarian, we try not to eat fish all that often. We’ve been this for about a year now.We kind of just jumped right into it, there were many slip ups at first, but they gradually lessen with time.

I bet meat has less diseases than Pam Anderson, though.

i think they’re stupid. they’re only using half naked or all the way naked people to get attention. like anyone really cares what peta is about because pamela posed in a bikini. they’re lame and need to figure something else out.

PETA annoys me.
that is all.

Doubtful.
guest
eh they’re doing the same naked woman stuff all the time. mix it up!
i feel like pamela anderson has practically transformed her body into plastic so i don’t think she qualifies as a member of the animal kingdom anymore.
this ad might have been better if they used another person, and even without hte nudity this ad could have been effective. they’re just trying too hard to be edgy when it can come a little easier. i feel like meat eating frat boys would put this up in their bedrooms and jack off to it. just sayin.

i hate peta first of all we need meat. yes i feel sorry for the animals that get abused but they have no feelings they have no soul so yea i love yummy meat

Let’s save the animals by exploiting women! Yay! :/

@rebekah1191@xanga - Soooo…animals have no nerve endings? WTF. Seriously.
daisy / 630 posts
@rebekah1191@xanga - no, we don’t NEED meat. There are plenty of people who don’t eat meat, and they’re perfectly healthy.
guest
Ew, what a horrible ad. I’m with many of the other people on here. Does she even count as human anymore? If PETA would just take a step back, stop using naked people and scare tactics and just used the cold hard truth, maybe people would like them more.
@rebekah1191@xanga - I respect your decision to eat meat, but don’t be a dumbass.
People don’t NEED meat to survive. You WANT it, but you don’t NEED it.
Second, animals quite obviously have feelings/emotions. Souls can’t be proven, that’s merely an opinion, so I’m not correcting you on that one, but they very obviously have feelings.
daisy / 693 posts
@rebekah1191@xanga - You don’t need meat really. You can just eat a variety of beans and legumes. Lots of things out there has protein
daisy / 693 posts
I don’t like how they spread their message. They don’t educate ppl they just spread propganda
Animal rights is a great cause, they do it in a really bad way

Anywho, I actually like the concept of the ad, although I really find her to look awkward and uncomfortable. I also really dislike the fact that she looks like she’s glowing and that the contrast on her body and hair is way too high. (Sorry, can’t help myself.)
I do eat meat on occasion and it’s not like I hate or love PETA, but all of the ads that I have seen recently have women who are half naked. That’s what draws others in, not the ad itself. Not even done in a classy way. Bleck.

@ribbonsxnxlace@xanga - it is true animals have no soul
dahlia / 2103 posts
@rebekah1191@xanga - Using the Bible as your point of authority will not work because that would require me to believe that the Bible contains only absolute truth. Here is something else the Bible says:
“Women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the Law says. If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own
husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the
church.” (1 Corinthians 14:34-35)
So…do you speak aloud in church or do you wait until you get home to ask your husband since you are a mere female? I realize that doesn’t have to do with the current argument but if you’re going to pick and choose what of the bible is true/valid or not, then anybody else can do the same.
guest
@rebekah1191@xanga - I don’t know if you’ve seen a food pyramid, but beans are in the same box/portion as meat. I eat meat, but you don’t need just meat to have your daily intake of protein – there’s fish, beans, nuts, tofu, etc.
guest
@needmoreink@xanga - i dont have a husband so there and yes i dont speak in church and women shouldnt woman arent in the authority to lead a church
dahlia / 2103 posts
@rebekah1191@xanga - So….. you are totally okay with the fact that you are considered less intelligent simply because you don’t have a penis? If you’re okay with that, then it’s no surprise you could believe something as stupid as animals not feeling fear or pain. They are both equally ridiculous concepts with absolutely no basis besides the Bible WHICH, I might add, was written thousands of years ago by MEN. Gee, I wonder if it’s biased??
guest
@rebekah1191@xanga - dumbass, meat isn’t a group on the pyramid. protein is.
guest
@needmoreink@xanga - it is the bible and the bible is the book of life . i believe animals have fear or pain but they dont have a soul which mean when they die they dont go anywhere they just die unlike humans who go to heaven or hell

Their ads are interesting the first couple times, but you’re right – there’s no variety.
sunflower / 260 posts
Especially since many people interpret God’s command in Genesis 1:28 as asking humans to shepherd animals and care for them.
guest
We are a drama moved world now and it takes the craziest and most different thing for us to listen.
guest
@FattywantingSkinny@xanga - first of all if i was on a stranded island and the only food i had was my dog then yes iwould eat him to survive but those animals have no meaning to me. i dont need them in my life so yea. animals dont have any souls so they matter less than humans is what i am saying. they might matter but peta treats animals better than people which is wrong
guest
@FantasyDreamerGrl@xanga - yes we should care for animals that means dont abuse them but meat is good for us. i dont think abusing is right but killing an animals is nothing wrong with that. some people in third world country all they have to eat is their cattles so they have to kill them to survive
guest
@mangocait@xanga - you talking about me right stop being a coward and stay that to my face or to my wall or whatever
guest
@rebekah1191@xanga - wow you didnt see the point, animals do have souls. PETA doesnt tell these people to do with a gun to their head, they decide to. Thats like saying the kid down the street has no meaning to you so lets eat him when your hungry. NVM your ignorant (real meaning) to the point of things and why everyone is giving feedback to what you said.
guest
@FattywantingSkinny@xanga - maybe if you read the bible you would see that animals dont have souls they dont go to heaven or hell when they die so they dont matter and peta does ads because they are mindless and stupid im not ignorance i am right look it up in the bible

@rebekah1191@xanga - The bible also says alot of things people go against, take do you throw away the food you dont eat or give it the needy? up your sinning right there. Do you eat sweets more than you should? your sinning there also. Your sinning right now getting angry and looking down on someone (PETA) if you realize the bible says alot of things an actually contradicts itself then you might see what everyone is saying to you, instead of pulling things out of your ass when your wrong saying animals have no soul or cant feel.
Just like a typical american when being attacked use the bible to defend yourself when your wrong.
Sorry if i offended anyones beliefs other then girl.

@FattywantingSkinny@xanga - so first are you saying my feelings dont matter since you just offeneded me and second yeas the bible say alot of things about things that i dont do but i am a sinner so yea i am not wrong i know what i am talking about but seriouslyu learn more about it why animals dont have no soul and for the millionth time animals do have feelings but no soul they cant go up to heaven or hell they cant pray or know god

@rebekah1191@xanga - ahahah what would be the point? you’re obviously nuts with no regard for opinions other than you own, therefore, ignorant. Your opinions are what YOU have interpreted to be what the bible says: a gross(large, not literally ‘gross’) misinterpretation at that. I’m not wasting my time with this and you ahahah don’t reply you won’t be getting one back
guest
@mangocait@xanga - Neither you nor the article site any real sources. You both sound like ad campaigns. It’s sickening.
The only “active” thing they’ve done that’s affected our area is try to ban a catch and release fishing tournament, because catch and release fishing supposedly causes psychological damage to the fish.
http://www.peta.org/campaigns/ar-releasefishing.asp
Note PETA doesn’t bother to site any real, non-biased references either.

Hahahaha! Let’s humanize animals by dehumanizing a person! This will DEFINITELY work!

I can see the point of this ad, but come on…

I know this isn’t related to what you guys were talking about but I just thought I’d clarify
guest
you guys do not GET the POINT of this ad. fuck. stop putting this crap on here. ” Take one, sexy, half-naked woman; add preaching message; let simmer and

@rebekah1191@xanga - I believe protein is the category on the food pyramid you’re looking for…that includes beans, eggs, tofu, nuts, soy milk, etc.
) Protein isn’t ONLY meat.
guest
@rebekah1191@xanga - and also, we are supposed to care for the Earth, not dominate it. I’m pretty sure “Earth” includes animals…and yes, THAT is Biblical. We are not supposed to just take and take from the planet but never give back. That’s just greedy and wrong.
guest

That is disturbing. This screams cannibalism. “Save the animals! Eat humans.”
guest
@rebekah1191@xanga - ignorance. and we dont need meat, actually
guest
Animals exist for a reason, and I think certain creatures like cows are here to be eaten.
guest
This is probably an arguement not worth starting, but I’m way too passionate about animals and their rights to not say something.
guest
I can understand unfortunately killing animals for food, it’s a part of the food chain which exists everywhere. But what I really hate is when someone is mistreating or killing an animal for no particular purpose. I think that this particular ad is quite blunt and creative. Yes, the usage of a partially naked female is a little over the top, but it can also be viewed as an art form. It is bluntly explaining in a literal visual sense that in fact animals may not look like us, communicate like us, or even behave like us, but they do have the same parts we have, and that they are like us in a lot of ways.
We are a ruthless society…..
guest
I don’t care. It’s not like everything else doesn’t already use sex for attention.
Would’ve been funny if they labelled her thumbs though.
guest
If you honestly believe that, you have no comprehension or understanding of emotion or feelings.
guest

Which is the way in which the animals are treated.
guest
Haha.
guest
@lonelyninvamp@xanga - I really enjoyed your post because it was very well thought out and I could feel the emotion behind it. I may add and message you this, but you stated that you were a vegetarian. How did you go about doing it? I love meat A LOT, but for health reasons (as well as the animal cruelty issue), I want to start to ween myself off of meat. But I find it so hard. Basically, how did you start? Did you just give up meat entirely one day, or was a slow and gradual process?

to the commenters:
oh my goodness. just shut up already. no one should care what other people put in their bodies.
it’s their choice. this PETA thing is getting as annoying as the door-to-door-please-convert-to-our-church members. the only thing worse than that is the meat-eaters who have nothing better to do than getting red in the face while arguing with PETA-pushers that are not going to budge in their stance.
seriously. please learn the difference between a well-educated debate and personal attacks
to the OP:if PETA had any solid science behind it, they would have more intelligent ads. so yes, they need to be more creative to sell their point, or hire someone who can prove the harms to society from animal cruelty. we need shocking images, not blonde models paid billions to pretend to support something

@rebekah1191@xanga - You are so ignorant. It’s a freaking generalization of protein because people are too stupid to know what to eat if you were to categorize it as “protein”, “carbs”, “fats”, etc. It also says “beans”. You should do more research before trying to argue the matter.
