that’s all i wear! i just bought 2 more pairs to add to the only other pair I had and i love them. it gives a different edge to an outfit that a pair of flats or flip-flops wouldn’t.

when i went to singapore 2 weeks ago, gladiator shoes were all the girls were wearing.  it’s not dead yet.

i have golden ones. i still think they’re super cute. i notice that everyone wears the one that looks like thongs for you feet kind of sandals.

I still love them, and probably will continue to love them once they go “out of style” again.

I want them to be tired, but, unfortunately, everywhere I look I am told differently. UGH. They are so annoyingly ugly.

i love gladiators, they’re so easy to wear and give a different style than the normal flip flops for summer.

I only have one pair, but i love them!

meh, i’m not very stylish and i don’t try to follow trends. i love gladiator sandals and i’d wear them even if they were out of style.

I love gladiator sandals. Probably because all I wear are flip flops/sandals, and they make outfits dressy. loooove them.

i was just in spain a week ago, they are ALL OVER THE PLACE. I even saw some today at church this morning… but anyway, I dont go with the trend, I go with what I feel like wearing!!!!

I think more people are wearing a simpler version of the gladiator, less strappy.

Still wear them because they provide slightly more top-foot support (still no bottom padding) than flip-flops – more straps to pull up the shoe when I lift my foot. Therefore, less toe-clenching needed (hopefully). They make an outfit look slightly nicer if I didn’t bother to assemble it properly in the morning.

Well, they may not still be trendy to damn hipsters, but I still think they’re cute (as long as they’re simple).

In southern California, the summer shoe is definitely a pair of Rainbow sandals. Practically all of the athletes at my school have a pair or two.

The ankle ones are cute. The ones that go up to the knee & make you look like an extra from 300 make no kind of sense.

@SUPletstake___surveys@xanga -  These are GLADIATOR sandals, not Jesus sandals. To my knowledge, the gladiators were neither in the same place, nor in the same time period as Jesus. ( just a historical inaccuracy). 

Anyway, I’m tired of these shoes too. I never thought they were appealing from the start.

I hated these when they first came out but I bought a pair from Forever21 earlier this spring because I hadn’t found any that I really liked.  I only wear these when I’m tired of wearing flip flops though..

WAY better than jelly shoes or regular old foamy flip-flops. If there’s anything tired that I hate, it’s FLIP FLOPS, ugh.

A few gladiator sandals are pretty cute. Hmm, trendy-ish, I suppose.

I used to think they were ugly and still find some to be a no no but after trying on a pair and seeing how it matched with all my clothes I came to sort of like them. Same with harem pants which are comfyyy! I don’t really see any other sandals that are nice anyways…..

they by far are amazing! I own so many. They are so comfffy. Keeep Gladiators cominggg.

They are still trendy, if you wear them with the right outfit, which is less hippy and more egdy.

I have edgy gladiator sandals where the tops are zippers. They’re really trendy and I think they’re flattering on one’s feet

Trendy as all get out. I want a pair of my own. Victoria’s Secret is selling a pair of calf-high gladiator sandals…they’re amazing…expensive…and I want them.

Why won’t you just wear them because you like them? Who cares if they’re out of style? If it’s tired and no one wears them anymore, they seem more fashionable then.

I work in a shoe store… and they’re not “out”, but there are fewer of them in stores. The one pictured is still cute and trendy though. Personally, I love gladiator shoes and I will wear them whether they are in or out. Who cares about trendiness though, really? If you like them, think they look cute, and they’re comfortable for you, ROCK THEM. I sometimes rejoice when something I love & wear goes out of style, that way people can see I would wear them anyways and everyone else was just a poser.

Um, yeah…”Trendy or tired”, I am still gonna be rockin em! I just adore em. I don’t wear heels, && they are a great substitute to the plain flats/ black sandals.
