I game in…just about everything. lol  Just whatever I’m wearing when it’s time to raid/I feel the urge to kick some ass.

I don’t think I ever wear lingerie unless I know someone (aka my boyfriend) is going to be seeing me in it. Maybe other girls wear it just to wear it… but I sure as heck know I would rather wear a comfy bra and pull out whatever underwear when I am on a lazy streak. I guess to me I don’t connect lingerie wearing on a day I want to veg out.

I do too… my guy loves it.  It is comfortable and fun.  I also get sexed up to just sit at home and game… it makes me feel sexy and it is fun for my guy when he comes home to find me like that… and he does game in his boxers sometimes…. I like that too!

@sas07@xanga -  Some stereotypes exist for a reason. I’m definitely not an advocate for stereotypes, but if you saw a guy with sagging pants, a wifebeater, and a do rag, you wouldn’t exactly assume he’s a college graduate. Point being, stereotypes are there for a reason, but the flip side is to not permanently attach that label to someone because they may prove you wrong – much like you did.

So bravo, for helping to eliminate the stereotype of girl gamers

Sweet – I play video games in whatever I’m currently wearing… 

Gaming in lingerie is like doing anything else (except, well, sexy things) in lingerie… rather uncomfortable.  Unless I have a mind to turn my roommate on, I game in whatever it is I’m wearing- and trust me, it’s not lingerie unless I have something else on my mind.  That being said, if I had a boyfriend at the moment, there would be more gaming in lingerie because there would be more doing everything in lingerie, as sexy times would ensue.

I am a gamer. and I am a woman. but I dont say “gamer girl/ chick”. I just am simply a gamer. as how it should be. Sticking the “girl” onto it already puts risk/ sets you up for judgement from others to stereotype you.

I think this post is silly because it seems to just try to fish for attention from gamers that are boys, and try to make girls jealous. underwear i beleive. but lingerie? Why do one have to use the word lingerie? Even if it were true that this person wears it while gaming… and no bf to be around. it just seems like shes trying too hard. Even if I did this also, I dont think id share it to the world. and real lingerie is uncomfortable. id rather sit in undies and a t shirt. Maybe her definition of “lingerie” is like… underwear.. and hides it by using the sex-related word: Lingerie.

I think its hilarious when non gamers who are female pose themselves as gamers in order to be “hot”.
Because when you/ I challenge them to a game or ask them game -related questions, they either suck, or they cant answer them.. and its just… fail.

Let’s get one thing straight, just because you play video games doesn’t make you a “gamer”. Gamers are basically addicted and wouldn’t have the motivation to slip into something sexy like that just to play. (This is directed at the people calling her a gamer, not the author herself.)

If you’re playing casually, at home, alone, who cares? If it makes you feel better, go for it.

Personally, I play in my pajamas when I feel the urge to play random old-school games. I wouldn’t stage the scene to get my boyfriend all hot and bothered. There are much better, and easier, ways to do that. =P

I game in everything, and anything. 

And down here, trying to mention that you are a gamer just for guys to like you doesn’t work down here in N.C,because where I live, guys are most into the tanned blondes O.O
So, girl gamers down here are usually put into nerd/outcast stereotypes…probably cause we end up actually getting good grades O.o

@sas07@xanga - I’m gonna have to agree with you. I game for the same reasons that you stated. Not for attention and not because I’m some fatty who has nothing better to do.

Also… I do get extremely irritated at guys who treat girls differently on video games (especially MMOs, it seems). I’m just another person playing a game, so please just treat me like another player. No, I’m not sexy just because I play. No, I don’t want to be your online girlfriend. And no, I don’t need your help with that quest. Thanks, but no thanks.

For the record, I was not trying to fish for any attention. This was the first time I ever played in lingerie and I was curious if any other girls would do it.

As for my username, that is getting bashed, my boyfriend picked it out because the whole point was to debunk the stereotype of all girl gamers = ugly girls.

Sheesh. The post was supposed to be fun and silly. Not be “hey look at me.”

I usually play in my pjs or something uber comfy for maximum enjoyment.

I do that all the time, often even naked.  My BF has gotten so used to it that he doesn’t even react.

It is plain logic that a person who likes to buy buy Viagra would use the word ‘Viagra’ in his search for the erectile dysfunction drug online. Rarely would a person key in a word that is not related to Viagra online if he’s planning to buy Viagra Prescription .
