Scarlett Johansson wowed critics and scored a Tony Sunday night, but I felt a little underwhelmed while I watched. Don’t get me wrong– Scarlett Johansson is a very talented, very pretty lady. But her hair is a problem.
Maybe I’m crazy, but I feel like every formal event she goes to, Scarlett rocks a pouf. Well, almost.
Now, I know this woman is gorgeous and she has great hair, so I don’t see why she keeps going back to this style– the straight pouf. I don’t think it flatters her face, and it definitely isn’t as pretty as when her hair is curly, or when she sports bangs.
I’ve really loved a lot of her looks, especially her creative up-dos. I say leave the pouf to Snooki or whoever, and bring back the retro-whimsy that made me fantasize about being a curly haired platinum blonde.
Lovelies, what do you think? Any one else tired of poufs?

a single picture wasn’t really great evidence of her doing it all the time.
Kind of a silly question anyways, because there was at least one, if not two, blogs on poofs already in the past week or so, so we all know what people think of them: very few people are super fond. Let’s move on to less obvious likes and dislikes on lovelyish!

LOL it’s her hair…

Wish I could figure out how to make them work for me. I do NOT like teasing my hair.

Actually, it looks good on her. *shrugs* I don’t see her wearing one all the time.

I really love the second hair do. Taylor Swift does it well too. I’m so tired of pouf’s in general now, everyone should ditch them.

I don’t see the problem with the style. I’ll say it is time to stop when I see 11 year old girls wearing it to school.

I think she can rock any hairstyle and still be classy and glamorous . At least the ”pouf” isn’t as bad as whatever she wears in the second picture.

only the first picture really counts as a pouf in my opinion… and the third picture is cute as fuck.
guest
the second picture is gross.

She doesnt look good on the first 2 photos. But I like the last one.

I like it on her!

I don’t really care, it’s her hair after all.

@haloed@xanga - Try a bumpit! It sounds silly, but one of my friends refuses to ruin her hair with teasing it, and she swears by this tool. I saw them for like, ten dollars at shopko once, and they have a cheaper version at the dollar tree.:)
That aside, ScarJo is gorgeous.

@hugsandICONS@xanga - I have them, but my hair is not super thick to hide the little bumps in the bump-its… sigh.

it looks good on her, i can see why she does it so much!

i think she looks good, maybe she wants to volumize her hair?

do you not have something better to do than write about someones hair?

The pouf compliments her face shape.

Third picture is lovely,
Maybe she’s trying for a signature look, or something along those lines?

It is because it looks good that way .. everyone have another view .. so respect it!

Pretty and talented? UGH this girl is so overrated!

She’s gorgeous; she’s one of those that could wear a trashbag and look good. Not too fond of a pouf, but I like that she doesn’t care either.
