In the upcoming month, students all over the nation will be graduating. Whether you’re a graduate of grade school, high school, or college, we want to say congratulations to all of our Lovelies here! On behalf of the Lovelyish staff here, we would like to list our top ten celebrity college graduates in honor of that special day.

10. Eva Longoria Parker
Known for her never-aging looks and petiteness, this Latin cutie graduated with a kinesiology degree at Texas A&M University – Kingsville. After graduation, she went to Los Angeles for a talent contest which actually kick started her acting career.


 

 

9. Matt Damon
He may have played a smartie for 1997′s Good Will Hunting, but did you know that he was also a smartie in real life? Matt Damon studied English at Harvard University and was actually short 12 credits of graduating before he moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. Though he is the only one on this list who didn’t graduate, we are glad that he pursued the acting instead!

 


8. Kristen Davis
Here are some fun facts that you may have not known about the Sex and the City star: Her favorite fast food restaurant is Chick-fil-A; she had to lose her South Carolina accent in acting school; and she graduated at Rutgers University with a bachelor’s degree. Interesting gal!

 


7. Carrie Underwood
Ah! We’ve watched this girl blossom from a shy-looking young girl to a beautiful country star during her American Idol days. But, did you know that she graduated magna cum laude at Northeastern State University with a bachelor’s degree in mass communication? No wonder this girl can connect so well with her fans!

 


6. Queen Latifah
Queen Latifah always embraced her curves and body. It’s no surprise that she became a successful hip hop artist and got nominated for an Academy Award. But, before the success, Queen Latifah graduated at Manhattan Community College where she studied broadcast journalism. Who says that attending community colleges are shabby? Look at the queen!

 


5. Adam Sandler
It’s kind of hard to see Adam Sandler in school since he’s always playing immature characters in his movies. However, he actually graduated at New York University in fine arts! He is also a very down to earth guy as he is often seen at the UCLA gym playing basketball with the students.

 


4. James Franco
Oooh. This is one hot actor! And he is one hot study partner! James Franco may have very good looks, but he also has a great academic background. He graduated in English Literature at UCLA, but he’s not done yet! He is planning to go on to get his master’s degree. He even told the New York Daily News, “I am going back to school because I love being around people who are interested in what I’m interested in.”

 


3. Tina Fey
Her studies at University of Virginia may have brought her to where she is now. She studied playwriting and acting while graduating with a degree in drama. Those acting classes sure came in handy for this funny and beautiful actress.

 


2. Ashton Kutcher
Funny man Ashton Kutcher was not always so funny back in the days. He was a dedicated student at University of Iowa, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biochemical engineering in hopes of finding a cure for his brother’s heart problems.

 


And to our #1 goes to…. Natalie Portman

She was discovered at the age of 11 at a pizza parlor. Her breakthrough role was playing Queen Amidala in “Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace.” Despite her success in acting, she took some time off to study at Harvard University where she graduated with a major in psychology.
