Here at Lovelyish, we’re always looking for new ways to embrace the Xanga community and really get everybody involved. Since we love reading all the comments just as much as you do, we thought it would be a fun idea to take a little sneak peak into the lives of some of our favorite readers!

Wouldn’t you like to know a little bit more about the person behind the avatar that’s bringing us such great advice and opinions? We know we would!

So what better way to cure those Monday blues than a little Q & A with haloed!

Lovelyish:
What’s your real name, age (only if you feel up for sharing), and where are you from?

haloed:
My real name is Leanne. I’m 23 and I’m in Toronto, ON. Canada silly.

L:
What do you do when you are not cruising through Lovelyish, reading posts and offering up advice?

h: I’m usually on Xanga while I’m at work. In my free time I’m usually playing video games (with or without my boyfriend), spending time with my boyfriend or family… and soon I hope to be hitting the gym with my sister.

L: What are your favorite types of posts to read on Lovelyish?

h: To be honest, I DO like reading the “who wore it better” and “rate this look from 1-10,” but probably some of my favourites are posts about makeup products/beauty products, and how well they work. Current trends are nice too.

L: If you could change one thing about Lovelyish what would it be? And why?

h: I’d love to be an editor, so people with ridiculously shallow posts don’t make it onto Lovelyish. I don’t think we should promote people who are vain/shallow, and/or judgmental.

L: How would you describe your personal style?

h:
I almost always dress business casual… even outside of work. It’s just a look that I prefer. Little bit of lace, some heels, natural-esque makeup… my thing.

L: If you could only have 5 beauty products in your possession what would they be?

h: Neutrogena Acne Stress Control facewash, my Pantene Pro-V shampoo & conditioner for wavy hair, my Tru-Blend foundation, and my Pulse mascara (I can’t honestly remember the brand right now).

L: If you could have a dress custom made by any designer, who would it be? And what would your dress look like?

h: I don’t know that much about designers to be absolutely honest, but I’d love that black dress that Katherine Heigl wore in the Ugly Truth.

L: What was your biggest fashion faux pas?

h: I don’t know if I’ve had any truly hideous faux pas, but my hair has made up for that on many occasions.

L: If your style (clothing, makeup, and hair!) had to be stuck in time, what decade would you choose?

h:
OOOH I would go with the 1700′s. I love the corsets, with the huge dresses below. Just gorgeous.

L: What is your most prized article of clothing and makeup?

h: This black and light grey striped shirt with a zipper on the collar (it kind of is like a loose high neck, that falls over onto the shirt). And as for makeup… probably my Pulse Perfection mascara.

L: What/Who is your guilty pop culture pleasure?

h: Lady Gaga. Just bein’ honest here. I love anything unique and standing out on their own. Personally, I don’t want THAT much attention, but the confidence to stand out, and express your personality, is just inspiring!

Thanks Leanne (a.k.a. haloed) for indulging our curious minds! Happy Monday Lovelies!
