Summer is a season of sweating and losing minerals and so you’re tempted to ‘boire comme un trou’, that is, drink like a blackhole Some may opt for frozen sodas or beer. but whenever you wanna try out your bikini on the beaches, you may wonder, what are some better choices? Don’t worry, here you are!
1. Japanese Green Tea (above)
green tea can ease indigestion (you know, you may not wanna eat a lot or at the ‘right’ time in summer…). it is good for your skin in anti-aging because green tea has anti-oxidizing composition and enzymes e.g. catechins (you can go google it:P). the enzymes can also inhibit bacterial growth on teeth and intestine. Most easily buy some tea leaves or tea powder and make it with 80 degree Celsius/ 176 degree fahrenheit water.
2. Umeshu / Plum wine
Ume (plum) contains lots of citric acid (vitamin c), minerals such as potassium, magnesium, and calcium (which are good for your period time), and dietary fibres. The slightly sour taste can also boost your appetite up in the hot weather. it comes in many different ways of drinking, like adding honey or other fruits.
3. Coconut juice
Coconut contains many kinds of amino acids that cann activate the use of other minerals and comtains complements for vita b and c. help prevent coronary heart disease and cancer, relieve coughing, and excellent for skin (even better than milk), enhance metabolism and prevent freckles (YAY!) BUT BEWARE!!!! coconut juice contains up to 93% of fat! if you are on a diet, don’t drink a lot!
4. Papaya milk
Papaya is rich in vitamin C and can help relief flu/cold symptoms (you know how easy it is to catch cold in summer time). rich in beta-carotene too (good for your eyes and vitamin synthesis). papaya is also a good source of fibre and potassium. in addition, papaya contains enzyme that help decomposing unnecessary proteins and hence ease indigestion. other functions of papaya includes clearing freckles and anti-oxidizing, and is good for breast development for girls in puberty. papaya milk can be served both hot and cold. =]
5. Soya bean milk
There are 2 types of soya bean milk, white and black, depending on the type of soya you use. soya bean milk is anti-aging (coz anti-oxidizing), and the plant hormone exist in soya bean can help regulating female hormonal changes and thus gives you better temper and body soya bean milk can also prevent some female diseases like cervical, breast and vaginal cancer. the ions can help regulate blood pressure. suitable for lovelies at different ages.
How do you like them, Lovelies? Would you take them as replacement of fatty beers or ice cream soda?

I love plum wine! Or at least the one brand of plum wine I tried. It was very fruity and much more suited to my tastes than normal grape wine. Papaya milk and soya bean milk sound interesting, I’ll have to try them out.

Coconut water is even better. Refreshing and doesn’t include all that sugar and preservatives. It’s all natural!

Where can you get the soya milk and the papaya milk? Is there a way you can make it yourself from the fruit?
